I wish they'd release these individually as well. If you're only interested in the oldest title(s), you have to pay for 4 or 5 movies that you don't want, or buy it for crazy sums on eBay. Being based in Denmark, I don't have the option of selling the unwanted titles on eBay.

Waiting for the new animated logo for Columbia Pictures ahead of centennial anniversary.
They just released it in image through social media. It's the classic OG logo we all know, but with the 100 number
@@liamkenny9097 Maybe once we see it motion. However, I'm somewhat in the minority of not changing it entirely, it's already great as it is, goes with the old saying of "if it ain't broken, don't fix it"
@@liamkenny9097 Definitely and most likely, it's going to be Columbia's first movie for next year.
Though I have to admit, it's kinda worrisome that Sony is having few releases from Columbia. Might be the continuing effects of the strikes and production shifts
@@Merdicano It's not the first film of the year, It Ends with Us was a first movie of the year, and the last movie is going to using it's 1993 logo.
If Sony wants to update the Columbia Pictures logo, it needs to become a realistic level that will be done by Sony Imageworks or JAMM that made TriStar back in 2015. And I would say, it's going to be the same thing as 1993 does.
The official centennial intro will be like giving back the Column, pedestals turn white instead of brown, the clouds will be used from the current TriStar Pictures logo. Their wordmark will be gold, and lastly for iconic Torch Lady is likely to get a CGI upgrade. (Just like how MGM did upgrade Leo the Lion back in 2021.)

Obviously not. Also all of the Ghostbusters movies (with the exception of the infamous Answer the Call) have gotten 4K releases and I'm pretty sure these Columbia Classics sets are for movies debuting on the 4K format, not ones that are already on 4K.
Sleepless In Seattle is a TRISTAR movie, but anyway.
