    If you move the remaining door on the wardrobe to the centre, you could put plain doors on either side, which would make it easier to repair. 👏👏👍🇦🇺

    The little wooden dowel looks like a pepper mill. Love the butter dish. Use the poly packing peanuts in the bottom of a house plant. The take up space and don't add weight.

    I can remember the plastic Rosalie figure (and other characters) being inside Kelloggs Ricicles breakfast cereal in the early 1970s.
    Later on, they were also available with Magic Roundabout biscuits from Nabisco. I think you could send away for the Magic Roundabout train with this set. Made by Airfix I believe.
    They are still very collectable today.
    Complete sets of ALL the many different colours are worth hundreds.

    Loved watching you unpack all those goodies.Think the Rosalie figure is part of the magic Roundabout toy set you collected in the 70s from cereal.Had a complete set as a child long gone now of course.The Gottschalk furniture is beautiful and with your talents between you will look amazing when repaired. Best wishes from Yorkshire Dales.

    Oh my gosh! I had that candelabra and the butter dish in my dolls house when I was little! I had a Pippa doll (Fleur might remember them) and had them in her house. If I remember correctly they came in part of a dinner service set with other serving dishes, cutlery and plates. Not sure if they were actually made for Pippa or just a generic brand that happened to fit with the size of doll. Would have been mid to late seventies/early eighties. Thanks for the trip down memory lane 🥰

      Hello @kasarija
      We're very sorry to have upset you, we have worked hard over the last 4 years to reply to all of our wonderful comments, but as the views have grown, so have the negative comments. We have tried to turn the better cheek and let it not affect us, but it has been difficult and detrimental to our mental health. We see that other larger channels can keep up with the comments, but we ourselves struggle with it. We started making videos for the love of the filming & editing, with no notion of the following we might achieve, we both work other jobs and went in a little blindly into what having a UA-cam channel might entail. We can only apologise about the patreon situation, we had a few instances in the beginning of people joining the top tier and then quitting a month later, after we had already sent the goodie bags to America, and one months subscription didn't cover the postage costs to the USA. We accept that we were naïve and have rectified that. But if you were willing to send your address privately on Instagram messages, we would be happy to send you a goody bag, but we understand if it is too little too late.
      We are very sorry, and acknowledge that we started this channel with no real idea what was expected of us, we are still learning after about 4-5 years, but we really do love what we do, and the wonderful community of people we have met through doing it. We will work at hearting every comment, but so many of them are so wonderful & personal it feels dismissive to simply reply with a heart, we talk to many of our subscribers on Instagram messenger and often acknowledge questions in the videos themselves, but we can completely understand that from the outside we appear unappreciative of the wonderful people that join & follow us every week, but I promise that is far from the truth, but you are right, in that we should show it more outwardly, and we will try harder going forward
      kate & fleur
      Thank you @kimberlymolitor354 for your lovely comment :)

      Oh my word! Oh my word! As a fellow American, I am deeply embarrassed for this commenter’s rude and self centered comments. My hope is that you two continue to do what you need to do for yourselves in terms of ignoring and wasting no time or energy on such petty and manipulative comments.
      Your channel has been and always is the most lovely, calm, delightful and creative channel out there! Please continue as you are - no changes.
      I am stunned at what “faceless posts” contain at times, as is the case with the commenter herein. I do believe she forgets …it’s YOUR channel, not HERS or mine or anyone else’s. She didn’t get acknowledged ?!?! Perhaps she goes about her life looking for affirmation and attention - such a tragic consequence for so many as a result of incorrectly seeing themselves as the center or others’ universes!
      She missed her patreon “acknowledgement” and “goodie bag” …. the world has ended! It’s incredibly gracious of you to offer to send her one now, after her insulting and childish rant. Again, take care of yourselves and “let it go”. (“it” implying this situation and also, her).
      All the best to you both - the mudlarkers and dollhouse imagineers who we all (with this one exception) adore! Kathleen

    • @Kasarija
      @Kasarija 5 місяців тому

      @@papabear2515 In your ignorance and typical brown-nose fashion, you have completely misconstrued everything. Yes, the channels are theirs. But without subscribers, their channels are nothing. The subscribers deserve at least a little respect and common courtesy. I’ve seen the comments. I’m speaking for a lot of people…not just myself.
      Btw, the “it” remark speaks volumes. But not about me…about YOU.

    • @papabear2515
      @papabear2515 5 місяців тому +3

      @@Kasarija oh my! How sad that a (chronologically aged) adult needs little hearts placed by her comment to feel seen/heard/validated! I would expect such from a preadolescent, at best. No channel or content creator owes their subscribers ANYTHING but good content. Period. No hearts, no responses, no acknowledgements, no shout outs, mentions, etc. That’s the beauty of there being millions of channels - if you don’t like what you’re getting (or “not getting” in your case) from a channel and it’s creators, then don’t watch and move on. It’s that simple.
      It seems from their most gracious response to you, they are getting you your “goodie bag.” So, hopefully you will feel seen and appreciated. ?!
      It’s fascinating you are speaking for “many others.” I’ve been a long time follower of their channel and very, very rarely have I seen negative comments. So please don’t feel the need to “speak for others” in order to add any “weight” to your own perspective. I hope you allow their comment about the impacts of such unexpected negativity on their mental health! Let that sink in!
      I certainly didn’t and don’t intend to speak for them in any way. As an American, I wanted them to know not everyone in the US is as petty as your comments were. (One positive, however, for us, was that we were able to use your comment in a discussion/teachable moment with our 2 grandchildren today. They, both under 13, were were not surprised - as they said … “we see this kind of immature stuff posted from kids all the time.” I rest my case.
      I hope you will now suffice from commenting about “your crisis” and if not, I so hope the channel creators will choose to block you. They certainly don’t deserve or need such self-centered negativity! And … all the best to you. May you never be treated as you have treated them.

    Hallo ihr Lieben,
    bei Minute 16:14, das ist ein Teppichkehrer oder kleiner eine Krümelbürste. Er/Sie funktioniert ohne Strom. Die Rollen unten drin, fangen den Schmutz auf und dieser wird dann im Kasten des Teppichkehrers gesammelt. Den Kasten kann man dann öffnen/entnehmen, um den Schmutz wegzuwerfen. Der Teppichkehrer war bei uns früher, in der DDR, ein beliebtes Reinigungsgerät, vor allem bei den Kindern. Wenn man ihn rollte, machte er ein Geräusch, wie wenn man die Borsten von 2 Bürsten aneinander reibt. Es war ein tolles Gerät. 🥰
    Alles Gute weiterhin für euch. Ihr seid großartig! 🙏🏻

    Some fun challenges there! Good luck!
    Could the extra mystery piece possibly be a back leg for the sink, or is that too short?
    The missing front sink leg should be relatively easy to create if you’re a decent hand with a scroll saw. I’m betting there are videos on how to create that type of shape. A tutorial for a full-sized one would still show you the basic principle. A scroll saw (sharp, small teeth) would be easier than carving it by hand.
    I wonder whether the wire wrapped around a real stick used to hold leaves in plane. Then the flower would make sense. 🙂
