When I was a little girl, my Mom and Grandpa built me a doll house out of a big sewing machine box. They painted windows on the outside and Mom cut out flowers from greeting cards and even a Christmas 🎄 and glued them on. Grandpa built a 2nd floor and the opening was like a fold down desk. Mom made the furniture from plastic bottles and covered them with fabric hand sewn on them. I never had a fridge so I took my little wood jewelry box with the ballerina and turned it into a fridge. Lol . I gave the house and all my stuff to a young girl whose family lost everything in a house fire. Years later she told me she kept everything until she was older and met another young girl who had nothing. So it all had a great life being loved.
I think I enjoy the small rooms in the wild and this lighthouse far more than the doll houses. SO much more creative and clever. The use of rubbish items to design and decorate are awe inspiring.

My grandmother would call this turning a sow ear to a slik purse! How I love to watch! We made beautiful things together, which reminds me of her. Thank you so much !! Keep making art!!!❤❤❤
Fleur and Kate! Ladies! Color me BLOWN AWAY by your spectacular creation! I had no vision of what it was going to look like and as it started coming together all I could think was how unbelievably talented, creative and impressive you two are!! I watched and re-watched Kate making the chair because it is brilliant! And I had to pick up my jaw from the floor seeing the painted fish!
I was completely absorbed watching you paint the “rocks” and making / decorating everything for outside and inside the house…I’m being verbose yet feel utterly speechless having witnessed this video!! It truly is a piece of art!!
I don’t know if you left the lighthouse on the beach or if you brought it home to Oscar? I’m hoping the latter as I hope one day you open up your own museum and display all of your precious works of art!

Give Oscar a pat on the back for coming up with the idea for such an evocative symbol that is scattered around the UK coastline. Inspired use of materials you two, using the egg boxes certainly produced a marvelous render for the buildings. Wonderful detail, particularly that grand armchair! Your creativity seems to know o bounds. Brilliant!

I have to admit I was skeptical at first, when you said plastic and rubbish, but I shouldn't have been. This turned out so amazingly realistic. All your creations are wonderful. Very cozy little house, especially with the cat sitting in the chair awaiting dad's return. Great job, and Oscar had a terrific idea. I just have to note is mom an art teacher? The materials that you use in terms of glue, glazes and painting, etc. are very interesting. I would never know what any of those materials were for nor how to dilute them the way that you both know how to. You both are so creative and I cannot imagine how you can come up with these ideas on the fly. You’re both so amazing mom is giving you such an education and it’s so wonderful that the two of you were spending time together like this, because life goes by so quickly, my daughter went away to school and I have missed her so much. I missed a couple of your videos and went back to see them. From the mushed egg cartons, the fabulous chair and hat to the fish and reel, all of it really! You two are amazing. I used to save little things to make into something for my dollhouse and you do all of that and so much more.

I absolutely loved the tree house you made, but this lighthouse is one of your most creative pieces so far. Very detailed and designed with all of the pieces of plastics, paper, cups and bottle. The painting speaks for itself, and is so beautifully done!
My husband loved lighthouses and we always purchased them when we went to special places. He also took me to see lighthouses we travelled many miles and we always got to visit them everywhere. Since he passed away in 2015 I don’t have my travel partner anymore. Cheers 🥂 ladies ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
