Personal opinion. The hair job was great. Loved the end result. Not so with the beard . Would have looked better with a lot more trimming and tighter, shorter beard. His seems to be sparse curly and wispy so maybe a shorter length would have looked tighter. But hey, do what you like. Cheers

Ive same beard also im cutting like it was done at the video since covid19 started (no barber situation). My barber did cut more into a triangle shape making it some evil vibes going on for me. Anyway im still with a no barber cut and i really prefer this way. Btw my scalp hair is straight and long to the belly which usually i knot in a way that the hair doesnt go bellow the shoulders. Ps: I was almost going with a goate attempt, luckly i decided cut step by step and these was my first and kept beard cut step. Pss: When i had the barber cut i had a samurai hair type (no hair on the shoulders).

As a tooootal amateur, do it for myself and friends barber, I was a tooooon of UA-cam barber vids and all of the beard brand stuff. That said, without question Bob is my go-to. Beyond the little things like being a great commentator, super funny and friendly, and just overall a super chill dude...he’s soooooo talented!!! Putting him and Chris in the same shop was a GENIUS idea, @beardbrand!

Bob, this cut was great. Style was absolutely perfect. The shape of the cut was the best part. You also seem to have taken off just what the beard needed. What a professional. Another side note, this fella is well thought out in his words.
I love the difference that makes a clean neck...that curls just popped up with a shaved neck...nice job, plus the client had some chat going on...brilliant to watch...
I can relate to both guys in the video. I’ve got the same curly hair and beard texture and the challenges that come with them, and I’m also in the graphic design field getting my feet wet with barbering and really loving it.

Cut off too much hair, and not enough beard. I know it’s what the client asked for, but his hair is cool and looks better longer. The beard grows weak on the sides and would look better shorter...or maybe should consider just going with a goatee.
