Hey Todd, amazing video and a place I’m going to visit for sure. Lao hospitality is so heart felt. Leaving for Lao from Aus tonight via Singapore. Enjoying your Vlogs from you and Neenee, have been sharing with Lao friends. Cheers, Phil
Have a great trip dude, I'll be back in Vientiane in 3 weeks. Thanks for the support from you and your "Lao family". Take care my friend and enjoy yourself.
Hahaha no not famous Lee. These people had no idea who we were. They were just friendly Lao people celebrating Lao national day, and they were treating everybody there the same. Lovely people. So many nice people in Lao 💚
Hey mate, I fell two stories & in chronic pain, my fear is I won't be able to manage the pain when I get there, now I have heard that the pharmacies in Laos will help as far as painkillers is that true?
Sorry to hear that dude. I'm not sure what painkillers you're on but they should be able to help you out. Can't guarantee anything though as I've never needed any pharmaceuticals there. Sorry I can't be more helpful mate 🙏
The big reason the Lao people tend to be friendly are two things. The foreigners have no had a strong an influence on destroying their culture yet. But we are working on it. Second they do not have mass tourism yet like Thailand. Where in many cases they are sick and tired of so many obnoxious , drunk, sloppy foreigners who believe they are the boss because of their money and arrogant attitudes. The increase of the foreigners into Laos is certainly not helping matters. Seen too many beautiful places like Vang Vieng destroyed because of us. One reason i tend to keep the locations i travel to a secret . Speaking Thai/Lao certainly helps to get away from the masses.
Green , the favorite color of nature .
