Get me a holiday Liam. Loved the courses around Caiscais when we went in September. This course is very nice, ‘the ravine’ is a knee knocker of a par 3. Penha Longa nearby also a great track.

I love this course and have played it several times.
When you played the ravine hole there is a large villa to the right which came into shot briefly.
I believe this used to belong to Peter Smeichell when he played for Sporting Lisbon many years ago.

The diff between the 3 shots that you were describing was the 1st 2 you told urself what u were gonna do then got distracted on approach to the ball by Pete which threw ur focus, the 3rd you never got distracted, it was a confidence boosting phrase that Pete said on the 3rd 1 which allowed your brain to confirm and keep focus on your description of the shot shape.

I never use a 6 iron in the trees. I prefer my driver, stay low and focus on line...yeah can run through but nothing pisses me off more than getting through every tree and the last branch that could be hit is the one...love the content, very real for us ordinary golfers
