If you changed the url by using a plugin, deactivate the plugin by deleting/renaming the plugin folder via SFTP. You should now be able to login again. ^MB
@@Kinsta I used the first method.. changing it from Settings->General -> Site and wordpress url... actually I am trying to solve the mixed content problem but, nothing is working
@@rohitgarud8878 You can try a search and replace in your database, replacing the old url with the new one. Be sure to first make a full backup of your site when you do this. ^MB
Hi, if I am to use the first method then do I or can I perform the search and replace (using the go live url update plugin) first, then update the URL in General - Setting (will wp-admin be inaccessible?) I am changing my url because I am ready to make the new site on server A to replace the old live site on server b.
Hi! I have a concern and I was wandering if y’all could help. Somebody created a WordPress account for me and got a domain name, I wasn’t liking it and I created one on my own and so I want to take the domain name I already bought with the other website and put it on my new website but I don’t really know how to do that. Thanks in advance!
