Interesting video as always Richard and was great speaking to you on part of the route. You managed to get some great scenery even though the weather especially the fog was wasn’t ideal. All the best Gethin.
Hope you enjoy your new bike, gravelling is great even in poor weather, the tracks are totally ridable unlike some of the muddy MTB trails. Thanks for watching the channel👍
i had the same garmin for years, i bought a wahoo bolt last year, very good device, and also i thought the area you were heading to from the w2 link was closed before bryn betws, been closed a long time now, not sure when it will be open again
Another good review on a Wahoo so glad I made that choice, hopefully be with me tomorrow. Yeah, I hope that area opens up soon but saying that I enjoyed the ride passed The Colliers. Thanks for watching and commenting.👍
Thanks for watching, hope you're enjoying your gravel bike. I use an app on my iphone called Komoot, you can download it for free and upgrade if you need more detailed maps etc but it has a great feature where you can plan a route first, based on other's suggestions or following your own plan, I then download that to my bike computer, I now have a Wahoo Elemnt Roam and it gives the route planned on there as I ride, with notifications when to turn. I did try exploring Llanwonno Forest near Ynyrybwl and I got lost. That's why I ditched my basic Garmin edge 200 bike computer for the Wahoo.

It’s a great area with so much riding to be had 😊
Was gravelling up there recently and did get round the second barrier to do the descent, but had a harder to get around barrier at the bottom.
