I am also 6months post and I feel pretty good over all. I also had heart issues but all tests are normal so idk what it could be. I get really hot and have excessive sweating and bloating as well. But it’s not anything life threatening. I’m so glad you’re doing amazing!

It’s great to heard you are doing great as well!! Seems like we are having similar issues. Like you said, nothing life threatening. I know it could be be better but it could also be worse. We are pretty lucky!

Glad to hear Wendy you are doing well. My husband is also experiencing sugar level issues and we are cutting down on carbs and sugars to see if it works. I have hard cinnamon is good to regulate sugar levels. Also for hair loss you might want to look into Ovation hair products, I have had good results. Look into it and see if it’s something you can use. Wishing you and your brother a life full of health and god bleed you always. Hope you put together a video on low sodium recipes. Take care. 😊

Hi Vanessa! Thank you for your kind words. I hope you and your husband are doing good 👍🏻 besides his sugar issues of course. I was never diabetic or pre diabetic before transplant. Unfortunately that its a reality now. I changed my diet completely about two months ago when I find out about my A1c. I get retested this week and I am crossing my fingers for a normal number. 🤞🏼
Thank you for the tip on the ovation hair products, I will look into it for sure!
      You guys take care! ❤️💚

Hi 👋 For what I see in the kidney Transplant community, it’s different for everyone. For some people slowdown after 6 months. That wasn’t the case for me. My hair fall slow down after I started to take care of it. As of right now. 1 year + post transplant, is ts still falling. Just not as much.
My best advise is to get a good shampoo and conditioner, vitamins and massage your scalp.

Hi. Wendy, I'm African American, I had my Kidney transplant months ago, I not sure that true and I say that because, I've seen more of Whites & Hispanics at the transplant clinics. I really don't see how race is important because everyone is affected Kidney disease. Continued blessings to you Wendy and to all that was blessed to receive their Kidney. Best wishes to everyone ❤️ 🙏
