We had a grammy award winning producer working with us at his home studio and he was a wizard. Voytek Kochanek is his name.

They rehearsed with us back in the day, Shun that is. Great dudes, miss those days.
We played many shows with Shun. We even rehearsed in the same rehearsal studio. For sure totally different though. We relied heavy on harmony from our guitarist for one thing. Also we started a lot of songs with a bass line. No one was doing that.

Love that crunchy, crispy guitar sound. You rarely get a sound like that nowadays but newer bands like Bleed are rocking it and bringing it back

Very cool sounds... buuuuuut...
I have never been a fan of METAL bands doing acoustic versions of songs. Metal is supposed to ROCK. Pummel me with power chords and vicious chuggery.
If I want acoustic guitars, I'll listen to Django Rheinhardt or Andres Segovia.
I love Andres Segovia first of all. Secondly, when your grammy award winning producer suggests something like that, you give it to them. And we never really felt like a “metal band”. I appreciate you listening and commenting for sure.
