Bannus you and ARD over the years have helped to remind us Guyanese how beautiful our country is and at the same time opened the nation to many foreigners. This particular video brought back many memories of my trips to Essequibo. My father took me with him a couple of times on some Dutch vessels in the '80s to load rice from Kayman Sankar. We sailed from GNTC wharf in G/town out into the Atlantic and entered the Essequibo River. Dropped anchor off Parika and waited for the tide to rise again. Then sailed down to the back of Hogg Island cross the middle channel to the western side of the Essequibo and headed up north and dropped anchor just past Adventure. I have to tell you those Dutchmen had a whale of a time in Essequibo. The vessels were a part of the Nedlloyd Group. The SENTOR , MENTOR & HECTOR. I remembered being amazed at the size of the mighty Essequibo River. Thanks, ARD. Many Blessings and y'all continue to do God's work. Yes, you can do God's work in all forms.👍👍👍👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏

Beautiful Lake Mainstay. Can’t wait to visit. Your family were so gracious and hospitable, that really touched me, especially when your uncle hugged and kissed you on the cheek. Brought tears to my eyes. Many thanks for sharing.
Great memories of the Essequibo coast . Can’t believe all the amazing developments since I was growing up in the 50’s at Richmond village. Thanks for sharing.
The water is not black it’s actually clear, the bottom of the lake has darkness from the trees and such…I visited Guyana in 1991 and then in 2022, we didn’t visit lake stay but we a tour on the Essequibo river on a few islands and waterfalls and H2O and loved that water.
Thanks for showing Guyana in a such a positive manner, so often it’s is shown in a negative way, continue doing what you do and may God continue to bless you and your family. Peace ✌️
