What are some things you have learned while writing your first ever first draft or just your first draft? Thanks for watching :) remember to like and subscribe! See y’all in the next one :)
I learned that I really need a workbook to not let my ADHD take over and that the method that works for me isn't always a method that everyone else is going to do.
I’m loving hearing your journey and thoughts for this year - “season of my life” is such a lovely way to put it. And yes to this community being so lovely and you have been such an integral part of this for me!
The plotter and plantser pipeline is so real 😂 and 👏🏼 to the writing community being so good. Still can’t believe how early you start your day! Something I learned writing my first draft is how distance from your WIP can do you so much good. Even if you think everything is going well, some distance can help revisit your WIP with fresh eyes and see opportunities or gaps that you’d completely missed when you were too close to it.
I can’t believe it either, but now I LOVE the quiet of the morning. I’m just able to accomplish so much more things when I get up early (inside and outside of writing!) And such great insight! I’ll be taking that advice once I finish this draft :)
I LOVE THIS!!! The comparison piece spoke to me the most as a newly postpartum mom! Thank you for sharing all of this, helping me to reflect, and encouraging me! I really liked this video! You should be proud of yourself!

@@lilseasalt oh this is a really good one! Everyone works so differently!
@@bbrookewrites I really enjoy looking at different people’s processes when I’m stuck as I may need to approach from a different angle.

You’re so sweet 🥹 and thank you! It’s the first time in a while that I’ve pursued a passion solely for myself!

@@JemyRaeBooks thanks Jemy! Postpartum brain is such a real thing-you’re doing so amazing already!
I was sick these past few weeks and I haven't been writing at all. I love the comfort of your videos and feeling like I'm listening to a friend.
You are so sweet! I hope you get to feeling better soon! Don’t rush writing, it will always be there when you’ve recovered.
