I'm in Pretoria writing my final Exams...was supposed to leave 3 years ago but i guess 2023 I'll relocate to Cambodia/ Vietnam initially I wanted South Korea but the "Diploma" TaLK program is currently cancelled. I speak/understand other Asian Languages but not yet Chinese. Haven't been in varsity for 3 years but I'm completing this year.
Hey I love this video. I'm an LLB student and graduating next year but I've always wanted to teach abroad ( especially in china) what are the requirements?
Hey .. I would just like to know if you have both a degree in Education and a TEFL/TESOL certificate, or do you just have a TEFL/TESOL certificate? I don't have a degree in education but I do want to do my TEFL certification in order to be a ESL teacher abroad, therefore I just want to know if a TEFL certificate will be good enough to meet the minimum requirement to be accepted abroad.
Hi. I have a bachelors of education degree and 120 hour TEFL certificate. If you have a degree in any field and 120 TEFL certificate you qualify to teach English abroad.
Hi, I really enjoyed this video. I just subscribed to your channel. Quick one, is the role permanent? I ask this because I would like to change careers
Same documents as an ESL teacher. Being a homeroom teacher just simply means that you stay with the kids in the classroom the whole day. While being an ESL teacher you just go to the classroom to teach
Which one did you use? Are they still recruiting even now? Lots of recruiters seems to have vanished since Covid. And do you know other recruiters who might be looking for teachers?
@@tendaninaledzani3953 I can’t remember her name, I got her contacts of DaveESLcafe website, recruiters didn’t really disappear it’s just that they are now more focused on recruiting people inside China. Recruiters that I know are only recruiting teachers who are already in China.
This is so informative. But is it only English teachers that are in demand? What about teachers that can teach other subjects as well, not necessarily for kindergarten. Any opportunities in other ares, say middle school , high school, lecturing in colleges?
@@munangiwaC Hau since when coz I checked last week on social media they said were still closed it just only those who get permission from Chinese government
For first time teachers in China, would you recommend using an agent or direct employment from the school? Do you know anyone with first hand experience with Haida-hr? I have had both good and bad reviews. I got connected to them by Pioneer and Beyond.

Hello. Do you think 17100RMB plus benefits is a good offer for a Kindergarten in Kunshan China?
It depends on a lot of things
Did you use a recruiter when you went to China?
