That was me for my Season of the Dawn Steelfeather Repeater and Perfect Paradox godrolls... I only kept the ones that I felt were really good... otherwise I'd have 10+ copies of them. Sigh.

@@AB21thats a hard NO. I have a rampage , k*llclip kindled orchid. It’s extremely rare and no longer sunset. There’s only one other gun in the game that can roll double damage perks like that.

also when was this ever a thing? of all the superstitious stuff I heard in the d2 world, I've literally never heard of holding a copy with unwanted perks as if it narrowed down the perk pool on the next drop.

A sunset item sitting in your vault you don't use is basically the same as an item you can look at in collections
High kill counts on said weapons though are a good reason to keep them.

This came up as recommended to me on Sunday, April 28th, approx 3 days after the sunrising announcement.
This is just painful to watch. I get it, if a weapon has 50k kills on it, and you have memories of gameplay, but 99% of what he's deleted is literally worthless in any scenario. "I can't get it again" yes, but you also cannot get anything new that actually matters
You could have given me 5 minutes, and I could have gotten his vault to around 200 without him even noticing anything worth it was missing lol. Worst vault I've ever seen, like insane.

I've never seen recorded symptoms of cope for so many sunset items. Nor a case for duplicate superstition. But the part about tossing weapons in the vault, to immediately forget about it, that checks out.

This is exactly like when your hoarder relative dies and you have to clean out their insane storage locker.
No, this is like when your hoarder relative agrees to let you help clean up their act.
You can pull any year 1 weapons from collections, so that’s another tool you can use to convince people to delete year 1 stuff.
Only things that can't be pulled would be alternate element rolls, like a void Ikelos shotgun. Unless bungie changed all the rolls to Solar at this point.
@13576bard Back when Bungie fixed all the illegally crafted weapons, they also reverted all weapon elements to their default. I had some Y1 Leviathan weapons with different elements from the default that changed to what they show in collections. Deleted them because Bungie tainted them and they didn't feel like my guns anymore. RIP my arc Conspirator and solar Inaugrual Address.

What Datto needs is another PvP lord who can help inform the deletion of some of the PvP weapons that way they can't escape. Better yet you could make it a competition kinda with two people and see you can get the smaller vault

Cleaned my vault again after this video, dumped around 100 armor pieces which had high rolls, but not very good stat distribution. 550 back down to 450, could do the weapons as well, but I already did those fairly recently

I know this isn't the most enjoyable thing to do, but your can make some serious bank hiring yourself out doing this! Call it Datto's Vault Rescue!

I get absolutely triggered when i hit 310+ on the vault and instantly look for stuff to delete and people have 600+ full PM + Inventory 😂😂.. playing since CoO too so it's even funnier to me.. albeit with a bunch of seasons skipped but eh.
If it ain't 5/5 or 67+ it's shards😂.
