    So the fish spawn depending of your technique! I thought the fish were there like I real life.

    • @midnightgamingmysticnightmare
      @midnightgamingmysticnightmare  Місяць тому

      To be technical, the game looks at your lure or bait type and lure or bait size. Also if it's a bait it looks at the hook size. If it's a lure it looks at the lure's color, depth and speed or if it's even moving. It then compares these things to if your fishing in an active spot that's considered a "hot spot." It then looks at if everything above is what the fish are biting on or "attracted" to at that time. If you're bait fishing it takes into account if you've spoded or groundbaited that area as well. If you're lure fishing it takes into account if your using a spinning technique and adds an additional 1% - 5% higher chance. If you're using poppers (top water wobblers) it adds an additional 5% chance of spawning and attracting a fish where the lure landed in the water when you cast it.
      After adding up all these factors it figures out a percentage chance for a fish to spawn and bite your bait, then rolls a random number generator, and depending on that number it may or may not spawn a fish that will immediately bite your bait or lure.
      So to answer your question specifically, if you were to remove the water all at once there wouldn't be one single fish in the water. Even the fish you see swimming around are just a visual addition to the water graphics. The fish spawn if all your above requirements are met, so you would see the fish spawn then immediately come after your bait. You can actually do some float fishing in Kuori lake near the bank where you can see the bait sit in the water. You'll then see the fish spawn and immediately go after your bait. It's pretty cool.

I played like 50 hours 1 year ago but didn't enjoy the game too much but a random recomandation from you popped and since then I reinstalled the game and gained 900 hours I don't even know how. I rewatch your videos time to time and they as fascinating as the first time. Thank you Mystic for showing me this game and made me excape from frustrating competitive games I played before. You are totally correct about the rod stiffness being a requirement for walk the dog retrieve. I've never been able to get it on a 4 or lower stiffness rod using a lot of different techniques.
    I try to tell people this in my streams when they ask about walk the dog not working.

    • @midnightgamingmysticnightmare
      @midnightgamingmysticnightmare  3 роки тому +1

      To be honest with you I think the guys that argue you can do it with a 4 or less stiffness rod are actually talking about casting rods, and that may be actually true. However for spin rods I honestly think it's impossible. So technically it is, and isn't true depending on the type of rod you've got. Maybe one day I'll have enough silver just to buy a crappy 4/10 casting rod and try it out lol.

      I'm assuming you mean for walking the dog. If not reference the time stamp so I can click on it and see what technique you're trying to use. If it's for walking the dog, when you put a popper or top water lure on your rod it turns your mouses right click to sideways jerk.

    Hello Mr midnight, I made a new setup, syberia super dutty s88xh, sputnik pulsar s6000 and syberia hybrid 55lb 350m black 25kg, Simmons steel leader 22 22kg and I cant cat far enough what should I do?

    • @midnightgamingmysticnightmare
      @midnightgamingmysticnightmare  2 роки тому

      Your rods test is 25 - 100g. If you are throwing a lure that is below 25g you are going to see a much shorter cast. You need to try and use lures that are between 25 -100g to get a decent cast, unless you are trolling then cast distance doesn't matter. Also your line is too heavy for that reel. I would drop down to a 15kg or 19kg line. Finally you only should be using a steel leader if you are fishing for pike. Otherwise you need to use a fluoro carbon leader.

    • @Παναγιωτηςγεραρδης
      @Παναγιωτηςγεραρδης 2 роки тому

      @@midnightgamingmysticnightmare Thanks for the respond 1) Yes I found out by myself before I read your comment about the test, I use that white lure you told us in kuori lake and I use it only for trolling. 2) isn't the line supposed to weight less than the reel's mech weight (pulsars mech weight is 26,6 kg) so I thought an 25 kg line could be suitable. 3) I used steel leader just to test the my setup with aggressive fish in volkvol lake. Thanks again for the answer!

    • @midnightgamingmysticnightmare
      @midnightgamingmysticnightmare  2 роки тому

      @@Παναγιωτηςγεραρδης Yes the line's weight is supposed to be less than the reels mech weight by 10%. However larger weighted line is thicker making it so you don't get much line on the reel. If you're using that setup for trolling then 25kg is fine cause you can chase down the fish and not get spooled. But if you're just spin fishing from the bank that line would be too thick and your reel wouldn't hold much line. Steel leaders are only good for perch and pike fishing. You'll catch much more fish if you use 28kg fluoro carbon leaders. Pike cant bite through 28kg fluoro leaders.

    You are the best. I learnt a lot from you and still 💪🏾💪🏾
    Keep going
    Yet I have 2 questions:
    1.What are the benefits of wine in the game?
    2.How do you get high silver income in less time? I mean it is sure that some types of fish worth more than the others, so we can get better gear and groundbait levelig up and all that stuff.
    Sorry for this long comment. Love you from Egypt ❤

    • @midnightgamingmysticnightmare
      @midnightgamingmysticnightmare  3 роки тому +2

      Usually wine is used to get your player drunk or cooking. Most alcohol in the game gets you tipsy which gives you a boost in experience when catching fish. A lot of players will not use alcohol unless they are just about to pull in a huge fish. Just before they pull it in they drink 4 or 5 bottles and get tipsy, then finish pulling in the fish. It gives them a big boost in experience.
      Higher silver is all about 2 things. 1. How much the fish is worth. If you're catching high value fish you're going to make lots more money. 2. Bite rate. The faster the bite rate the more fish you catch, the more fish you catch per hour the more silver you make per hour. The best thing to do for lots of silver is find a spot where you're catching lots of high value fish very quickly.

  • @samuelhugo3387

    this is odd, because I never get it to say jig step with wobblers anymore, I used to, I still get bites like jigstep though. I suppose I am getting ghost jig step with wobblers, this video is 2 years old so I don't know if it still works like this

    • @midnightgamingmysticnightmare
      @midnightgamingmysticnightmare  9 місяців тому

      Wobbles don't jig step and never have. In fact the only two things that wobblers don't do are jig step and walk the dog. Jig step works by the lure touching and sitting on the ground for a certain amount of time and then leaving the ground. When you reel the wobbler sinks and may hit the ground, but still moves. When you stop reeling the wobbler floats. This makes it impossible for the jig step to work on wobblers. But yes the ghost jig step works on everything because technically the lure moving at all makes fish spawn and bite. However fishing techniques actually only increase the bite rate.

    • @samuelhugo3387
      @samuelhugo3387 9 місяців тому

      @@midnightgamingmysticnightmare yeah I know this is bs because I saw it with my own two eyes, did it with my own two hands, but I suppose it must have been a glitch, jigstep with wobblers was my favorite way to do it and I still do it with the technique because I don't get bites if I do a straight retrieve. I am happy to hear what techniques you recommend for wobblers though

    • @midnightgamingmysticnightmare
      @midnightgamingmysticnightmare  9 місяців тому

      @@samuelhugo3387 Sorry man but I've been playing since the game launched and the wobblers have never been able to jig step. When you stop reeling with them they float, so jig step was impossible. In fact here is a post on the RF4 forums made by Levy, who was a moderator on the game, where half way down the page he showed the techniques you could do with different rig setups in a table. This post is back in 2019 and as you can see, you couldn't do jig steps with wobblers back then either. Only thing I can think of is you're confusing spoons with wobblers in your memory.
      As far as wobblers if you're trolling you don't really need to do anything, but if you must speed up is easiest. If you're sitting in a boat or on the bank all the techniques work the best, but stop and go are my favorite.

      4. Go into the tackle shop and click on the tab at the top that says lures, then click soft plastic lures.
      5. Look up the lures that you want, make sure you mouse over the small circle with an i in the middle on each lure to find out what size of hook that lure will fit on, so it will fit on your jighead hook.

    he's counting to two. but starts at 1 as soon as he stops rotating. so he's putting 1 second on the zero second mark. and counting to 2 wich is 1 second in reality.
    so conclusion.
    this guy can't count. and you should do 1 rotation. stop for 1 second. 1 rotation. stop for 1 second.
    if you do that. then you are doing what the guy is doing in the video

    • @midnightgamingmysticnightmare

      Again sounds like a YOU problem and YOU can't count. I was actually stopped for 2 seconds. Take out your phone, open the clock, click on stopwatch and time it from the time i stop reeling to the time i start, It's 2 seconds and it goes by faster than you think. Might want to go back to school and learn how to tell time and count properly. People who can actually do this shouldn't have to teach you how because you didn't finish school or pay attention in class.
