What does the Continuous mode do?

From what I see it continually outputs a signal/value instead of only updating when it detects a change in stability.

@@Hazzbro1964 Okay, thanks. Presumably, if someone was sufficiently motivated, he could use an Arduino with a serial shield to process the incoming data and automate powder dispensing or fill a spreadsheet.

Set scale to "hand" , not "auto" . Every time the scale stabilize you can press the "print" and it will capture the value. That worked for me
