This is by far the best vocalist this year tbh. His vocals were pretty good at LEP considering the fact that they were in Madrid the night before, where imo his vocals were even better, could be my bias but it’s giving winner vibes❤❤
He is a fantastic artist. The only performance out of all, which really gave me goosebumps this year. If he vocalizes so impressive in Malmö - it might be a true showstopper 🏆
The jury is gonna go crazy for this song. Top 10 for sure.
They also often try to go for something modern and radio-friendly, not necessarily for the best vocals. So who knows :) but top-10 should be guaranteed, I agree

Slimane is massive in France.
He won The Voice France 2016, robbing all french hearts from the blind audition onwards.
Since then, he has released 4 albums: they all monopolized the #1 seat in french charts.
All his concerts in the biggest venues are booked immediately.
He is known to be a very skilled vocalist, with an impressive range and a unique tone. But first and foremost an emotional powerhouse that always delivers perfectly live. He can sing acapella in front of large venues and is not shy to perform on the biggest scenes: he sang Mon Amour for new year's eve on the Champs-Elysées, in front of more than 1 million people.
He is also an amazing songwriter: he composed and wrote most of his own songs, and also has produced songs for the greatests of the french music scen (Amel Bent, Kendji Girac, Florent Pagny, Vitaa, ….)
Up to, recently, the great Lara Fabian: he is co-creating and co-composing her latest album with her, she just released the first song "Ta Peine" (Your Sorrow), with a music video recorded on a sicilian beach, close from her home.

I like the song but I don't love it. The lyrics are kind of plain and the music appears fairly simple.
The main problem, though, could be Slimane himself. During the previews and live performances in general he has clearly strained his voice in search of a better expression. That could be bad for his ESC, especially the Jury.
Let’s hope he found a perfect sound and his voice will be healthy enough for the final performance 🙏
