Yes! This sounds like what I hear in my head when I read Sarah Seidelmann talking about journeying (using drumming sounds/cd) in her book "Swimming With Elephants".

@@elizabethv.7509 I think that's what they don't know. 👻 I'm ignorant, to be frank, but since no one else has spoken up yet, i will suggest a blockage of some sort? Have you connected with the earth? Purified your body? What have you tried and what are your methods? Peace!

I am unable to leave my body since going through several traumas over the last few years, no matter how many times i try. So how i can journey for healing? I cannot afford to pay a Shaman right now, but if i can save some money, ball park how much should i expect to pay for things like soul retrieval and extractions? any tips for journeying if i have blocks? also every time i try to leave my body the back of my neck stiffens up and aches sooo bad, and its not from being uncomfortable. thanks

A real shaman doesnt charge if you want to i can help you just message me on instagram i know it spunds unprofessional to talk on instagram but trust me im a shaman and i would never charge as this defeats the purpose of being a shaman
Try not to be too strict in terms of what you mean when you say leave your body. Set an intention to meet a power animal or spirit guide, play the track, put a blindfold on then see what happens. The guide may come to you in visual or another sensory form. Maybe they will appear later at night in a dream or in your waking life. From then on you connect to the guide to journey.
I want to learn more, but my left brain keeps slapping my right one. It's hard to begin the journey when I can't even get the car started.

The beat changes all throughout the track; really disruptive. It’s like someone’s just having fun making a beat. All the micheal harner recordings are either really short or badly edited. Where are all the good drum recordings? You’re telling me there is only two decent drum recordings on UA-cam?
Try Project For Gaia. They have background noise, but its still pretty good. Also, play around with your wording when you search for shamanic drumming. You'd be surprised what you come up with.

JJ Jaeda let go of the rhythm and feel the viabration. Do not hear the drum, feel it. :)
"Do not hear the drum, feel it." Been doing it all wrong all these years. Followed your simple advice. I was able to journey for the first time in my life THANK YOU! Every instructor should tell beginner's this simple advice.
