- The mildly jealous fairy had her own series of movies. And they were actually really good. I break down how it started and what happened to the beloved Disney Fairies franchise.

OMG I LOVE EVER AFTER HIGH!! Nobody ever mentions it anymore! Ugh the nostalgia 💕
hey a new tinker bell movie was coming out in 2020 but its cancelled can you tell us why plz
I just realized something: Tinkerbell was a woman in STEM and they could have sold science kits instead of fashion dolls. Truly a missed opportunity on Disney's part.
That was the point of making a TINKER series. 🤦♀️
Dude I would have loved that
Why not both? There's nothing wrong with dolls.
@@lip.w.8910 hell yea i would've bought a tinkering kit with a tinkerbell doll
@@krizcruz3 Yesss that would have been so much fun! I love dolls and creating stuff, I remember there was actually a doll series that had dolls and expirements but I forgot what it was called.
The Disney Fairies movies were criminally underrated. They were the *best* Disney movies, and you can’t change my mind.
I agree, I just rewatched them and they were so good.
Ikr
While I love em, I'll have to disagree.. however I do agree that THEY FREACKING AMAZING
Umm they were good but not the best :)
but mulan tho....
(i don't wanna start an argument but yea i still like mulan better. The movie told an amazing story about how a person grew and overcame obstacles nd how she risked her own life to protect her father)
as a girl born in the 2000’s who obsessed over those movies as a child, i need to say thank you
those were SO good and no one really cares about them that much
same!! these movies were my complete childhood, and it pained me to see that at one point they stopped making them :(
Aye, i'm from the 2000's too, and honestly, couln't agree more. Even though I only remember the newer ones coming out, because i'm from 2007, and I started remembering more stuff in 2012.
I always loved tinker bell movies. I actually wasn't aware they stopped because I kept on waiting for their next release didn't knew it was almost 5 years of waiting for me and I just found out they stopped now. :< I'm really waiting patiently no matter if it takes years as long as they release it.
Im from the 2000s too
I watched these movies again
Not that good anymore
Interesting, I'm Gen Z as well, so I grew up remembering the Tinkerbell movies coming out one by one.
The tinkerbell soundtrack is criminally underrated, it’s all so beautifully done

I wish they would have created a movie about how Tinkerbell met Peterpan, that would have been something cool and interesting to see
I always felt this way like just the story of how they even met and how she kinda left pixie hollow to live with Peter would’ve made me so happy because I’m a huge Peter Pan fan 😍
Omg yes, would have loved to see that
I have a kind of crazy theory about how tink could have met Peter pan. After the events of the pirate fairy, captain Hook returned with his pirate crew to seek revenge on the fairies and destroyed pixie hollow, including the tree. Later on she went with Peter Pan bc there was nowhere else to go when he found her and took shelter inside the hollows of the destroyed pixie dust tree, which eventually became the lost boy's hideout. Looking at the map in the original Peter pan movies, something so widely spread like the pixie hollow should have been shown somewhere in the map, but it wasn't even mentioned. So that's why I thought what other explanations are there for pixie hollow to not be mentioned even once? Though I think that's not the likely explanation XD
@@sanhammy9470 and that would explain because in Hook The Lost boys hideout had different seasons throughout it
@@laurabryan6938 wow, I haven't seen Hook but now that you mention it, I guess it does explain that somehow
Vidia's sass was iconic. The thing about her that was so great is that the stuff she said at first may have been cruel, but it was sassy and funny and she was slightly right. She had a reason to dislike Tink at first and was a complex character, not just a bully who was there to senselessly create forced drama. The best part is that they actually become friends when she realized she was bein a lil Sweet Honey Iced Tea TM and they stayed friends while she never lost any of her sarcastic cynicism.
i used to disliked Vidia so much in the first 2 movies but the 3rd one has changed my mind after she actually saved Tink instead of running away like she did in the 1st movie
the only thing that was soften a bit was her personalities, noticable in further movies but her sarcastic part has never changed, she might get angry and tricky to get along with at times but she's also always been there for others through bad times and that's what i like about her, and yes Tink and Vidia stayed friends indeed even though they get on their nerves with each other at times lol
i never expected Vidia to be in a group with Tink's 4 other friends besides Tink herself when i watched the 4th movie, i mean sure she was a part of a member in the 3rd movie but that was to save Tink from humans after she realized she was so cruel to Tink all the times by accidently putting Tink in danger from humans, i didn't actually think she was gonna be a fully member in further movies
my favourites are: Periwinkle, Terence, Tinkerbell and Vidia
What was her reason to dislike tink?
@Fiyinfunoluwa Ojerinola oh you mean Meg :P
I’m kind of confused to this day tho about her character. Ofc she never lost the sass but I just feel like she should have apologized to Tinkerbell after how she basically got Tinkerbell in trouble with the thistles destroying Spring. Even if she didn’t mean it, I found it kind of odd that nobody even brought that up again after that movie and they just move on and act like friends
@@woterpillow9781 she never had one lol
Imagine if Disney made a new Tinkerbell movie?? The animation would be so beautiful after Raya came out !! The graphics are legendary 😭❤❤
Sis, I’m in!!!🥺✨
oh i'm definitely in, we should make a petition or even making stories on fanfiction or wattpad
maybe who knows they continues with the Tinkerbell movies, each based on other characters then Tinkerbell
only expection is when Tinkerbell leave pixie hollow to meet Peter Pan and a movie that's not only mainly based on Tinkerbell but also her friends
when it comes to an bigger adventure, even more then "The Lost Treasure and The Pirate Fairy" combined
(definitely Silvermist, Rosetta, iridessa, Fawn and Vidia for sure maybe even Zarina)
i need dramas from the girls too *(since we only saw one with Terence how these 2 were fighting)*
and eventually the girls decided to go look after Tinkerbell when she needs the girls the most :)
maybe we should both make an petition AND making a fanfic about a Tinkerbell story so we can convince them even more
to continues with it by making more Tinkerbell movies, so i'm DEFINITELY in :P
It just need a good story plot and great characters with the original cast being the same and you know all that good jazz that made the tinkerbell movies THE BEST

I blame 'me both for my trusting issues
We said "Peter Pan and Tinkerbell first meeting" and we got Hook's origin story. 😒
The books have it! I believe “Fairy Dust and the Quest For the Egg” talks about it, and it’s my favorite of the series.
SAMEEEEEEE
Don’t know if anyone notices but the first 4 original movies each have a theming season: 1= spring, 2 = autumn, 3 = summer, 4 = winter. I love how they put that little Easter egg, in general loved the tinker bell movies!! 🥺💚💛
Wait wasn't there a movie where tinkerbell had a long lost sister?
That’s the winter movie
I love Secret of the Wings, but there was inconsistency thrown around. Like Fairies are prohibited from going to Winter and the winter fairies are prohibited from leaving winter because the temperature change would break their wings when fairies were fine crossing in the first movie. Also Periwinkle never appeared until the fourth movie
@@Rosegirl398 also the prime minister of Winter like died or something and got replaced for lord malori Clarians lover
@@alexandrocorona9283 Maybe he existed, but never made an on screen appearance until Secret of the Wings, and since the fairies are in charge of the seasons for the Mainland, he was helping the Minister of Winter over see the the winter preps and was mostly busy
You left out the obvious factor: Frozen.
When it came out Disney took notice in all of the little girls going nuts over it, so much so that merch sales for Tinkerbell/Fairies took a huge hit. And since the only reason the films exist is to help push merch sells, any future Tinkerbell films ended up getting canned in favor of pushing Frozen instead, as it was obviously far more profitable. (Which is a bummer because while I do like Frozen, I liked the Tinkerbell films too.)
@Osman Yousif What? They both have to do with sisters, winter and one of them having ice powers?
@@cerenity3578 And two sister's love save the other one's life/wings and save a village/hollow from winter taking over
@@doyoueverfeellikeaplasticb2703 Omg it's literally the exact same story and plot, just not with fairies! How come it's super obvious yet I didn't notice it at all? I only watch the wings movie once a year cause i have so many others lol.
I bet that's WHY Secret of Wings got way more successful then the other Tinkerbell movies, and then them making a separate Disney Princess remake with songs... OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH-
LITERALLY that doesn't even need to be a theory or assumption, the movie came out a year before Frozen and they decided to make another version and what do ya know... even more money and success from Disney. They know what they was doing huh? Can't be a coincidence, they knew this story would get so popular just from the wings one. Some say Frozen was inspired by the "Snow Queen" i forgot from who made it, but I think it's mostly from their own movie.
I would have rather had a more clearer tinker bell movie then frozen it was cute and all but I didn’t want to watch it again like I do with the tinker bell movies
We need more Tinkerbell movies not these stupid Disney live action remakes we getting 😭😭😭

UGH LITERALLY, I can't believe Disney's still producing those blatant cashgrabs, but I'm also not surprised. I'm glad people acknowledge the live action remakes for what they are. I could talk all day about how disgraceful the Mulan remake was to the animated version LOL
The only good live actions were aladdin and beauty and the beast smh
I’m a 38 year old straight dude and I LOVE the Tinker Bell movies. Just so innocent and pure. I think they’re beautiful and watch them with my 2 year old daughter.
Yes!
Just the innocence and pureness in the movies made me fall in love with them. Really wish they would make more cause I'm here for all of them.
That’s adorable and I agree. They are so fun and have wonderful messages
I only saw the Tinker Bell movies on Disney+ at 25, and I fell in love with them, too! The music and scenery were just stunning, and the interactions between the characters warmed my heart, especially Tinker Bell's friendship with Lizzy in the third movie.
I like them too. Gotta rewatch them all.
Yeah, I always thought the movies were okay-ish as a kid since I couldn't fully appreciate how well made they were. I fell in love with the series at 21.
I'm so happy you mentioned Rani, because I absolutely loved her as a kid. I had a wheelchair bound friend in elementary school and her favorite character was Rani because being wingless is like the fairy version for being paraplegic. She liked that Rani rode a bird instead and that the other fairies didn't exclude her just because she couldn't fly.
I was a fan of Lily as a kid because I wished that someone would treat me with the same level of respect and love that she showed to Iris, as a little autistic girl :')
If Disney kept making Tinker Bell movies, I would watch all of them. No questions asked. I just love it and it brings back a strong nostalgia. Btw stan silvermist

the Neverbeast makes me cry, for the simple fact Gruff the beast only wakes once every 1000 years ... but pixies only like to around 600 years. meaning next time he wakes there will be all new fairys, and he will be alone again, hopefully pixies will be less afrade but still alone.
I know it made me cry to :(
Oh ;n;
I literally have only ever watched that movie once cause the ending hurts too much

Aww so sad
Honestly I thought legend of the neverbeast was a banger. It was really cool seeing a different fairy as the main character and the expansions on the more were really interesting too.
Like the scout fairies? They were present in the background of the first movie so it’s interesting to see that they weren’t just a last minute addition, but this is the first time we really see them. They have porcupine spine weapons and are basically a special forces unit??? Plus they’re stripy just like some kind of poisonous beetle? Absolutely iconic.
*lore not more haha
Agree otherwise I think the ratings were pretty fair
Though it's not my favorite of the Tinker Bell movies, it holds a special place in my heart and also always makes me cry everytime I watch it.
Two details I really appreciate that show that Disney Fairies was more than just a cash grab are that if you read the original Peter & Wendy, Tinkerbell is described as a Pots & Pans fairy, which clearly played a part in the creation of the talents system and Tink's role in the series. The other is that if you look at the cover of Rani in the Mermaid Lagoon you see a red, blue and green mermaid, if you watch the movie Hook when Peter Banning falls from Hook's ship he is rescued by a red, green and blue mermaid. These are really sweet touches that show that some serious passion went into the Disney Fairies franchise.
They really did and I think everyone noticed that the little girl from the first movie was Wendy
The attention to detail made my conspiracy theorist heart💞
+ original Tinkerbell was a jealous misogynistic asshole. The lengths she wiould go to harm Wendy...
In the movies she was really nice and treated other fairies in a decent way
Actually, i like that Disney always have some Peter Pen stuff in their movies. For example, Princess and the frog!
@Sarah Dunn As far as I can remember, she has tried to kill Wendy, so it`s not only about being jealous.
Being angry over an accident to the point of villing to put someone else`s lifein danger is still awful as hell
Almost every girl on that island was simping over Peter Pan, except Tiger Lily, she`s cool
Anyways, Tinkerbell is much more pleasant in the movies, I reallly enjoyed lore of the universe she lives, her friends and new boyfriend who is 100 times better than Peter Pan
I actually love Terrence. He is way cute and a genuinely great friend and damn near perfect love interest. He canonicaly in the books has romantic feeling for Tink, and she canonicaly doesn't return those feelings or is unsure. He never forces himself on her, he never guilty her into returning his feelings, he doesn't even expect her to love him back because she doesn't have too. Which is a great message to young girls. Just because someone says they love you doesn't mean you have to force yourself to love them back. He also doesn't let his feelings make their friendship uncomfortable.he is the perfect gentleman or gentlefairy or whatever and has super cute hair. And he sticks out his pinky when he drinks tea. He is the most wholesome cinnamon roll of a fairy, even his color pallete is wholesome cinnamon roll. He is always supportive of Tink and encouraged her. In the first movie when everyone was mad at tink he was the one who still supported her, and encouraged her to be proud of who she was and her skills.
Edit: lol thanks, can't believe my most liked comment ever is a rant about the god teir level of cuteness and wholesomeness that Terrance is , as a 21 year old woman.
AMEN he was a total babe then and he still is today😂 hands down the best male disney character
I agree I loved Terence and I was kind of annoyed that the films canonically established him as her best friend in movie two only to completely drop him by movie four
The reason Tink doesn't return Terence's feelings is because she's in love with Peter Pan... he still was glad to be her friend and honestly despite being 20 i kinda ship them heheh. I remember that scene in the first movie where she went to the pixie dust three and he gave her advice while giving her her portion of the day.
But he wasn't Tink's love interest in Lost Treasure, the whole point of the movie is friendship, and how you can forgive mistakes and reconciliate with your friends. I have merch of that movie that explicitly lets you know they dropped the love interest part of Terence for the sake of a friendship message lol also the song by Demi Lovato? And his voice actor also sang a song about friendship in the official movie's album (which is not a soundtrack, and yes i own it lol)
[edit]: also i hate how he was dropped completely after Great Fairy Rescue, the only reference we have of him is Peri asking Tink if he's her boyfriend.... after being an important character just ONCE. but despite me disliking the fact that they dropped his love for her, it's also nice to see a friendship between a boy and a girl that doesn't end up in romance. Because boys and girls can be friends.
True, although in the great wand book he did make the selfish wish of making tink fall in love with him. He regretted it.
Plus, just... Terrence’s voice comes from Jesse McCartney and he’s also Roxas and that just meant a lot to me lol
Honestly, the idea of being able to repair wings through aligning it with an identical wing is really something people should've looked at more, that really was a good idea.
Another reason it was shut down is because Disney actually SHUT DOWN the department studio responsible for the movies' production. This was the same studio that focused on the Direct-to-Video Disney Movie sequels that we grew up on. Admittedly, we know a lot of them weren't that good and should never be spoken of like...EVER. but Disney was once again reforming the company at this point and I think that was the main reason we lost the Tinkerbell movies.
thank you for saying this, i kinda wish this was higher up in the comments because disneytoon shutting down is probably the main reason.
Damn it DISNEY
Wait what movies that should not be spoken of?
@@beashemmad.sayson545 mostly Hunchback of Notre Dame 2, but also a couple other Disney sequels that aren't big fan favorites lolz

Yes and I love how it incorporates plants and flowers. It really adds to the world building. I don’t remember which book it is but there are fairies that actually design fashion. It might’ve been mentioned in “Dulcie’s Taste of Magic” which has a baking-talent fairy as the main character.
Favorite fairy:
I think vidia because she has the most character development. She went from being this snotty fairy looking down on everyone to being the first one who tries to save everyone because of “the power of friendship”.
I think as the series went on, she respected and admired the different powers of the fairies which makes her parallel with tink a little bit.
Not to mention the older you got, the more you understood why she was so “snooty” to begin with.
Especially when they got talent-swapped in "The Pirate Fairy"
One thing that bothers me about the TinkerBell movies is how Secret of the Wings basically retconned the first three movies by making it so that the warmer fairies couldn't go to the Winter Woods. Not only that, but in the first movie, there was clearly a lady of Winter already ruling, AND Tink, Clank and Bobble were able to fly through the Winter Woods at the beginning without getting hurt. I am unsure if the writers forgot about that, but even as a kid I noticed it and that plothole bugs me to this day.
Edit: Dang, thanks for all the likes! I should probably add that I don't hate Secret of the Wings, as flawed of a movie it is. The plot holes are irritating, yes, and Lord Milori (despite being one of the most potentially interesting characters in the franchise) serves almost no purpose in that movie outside of his and Queen Clarion's romance subplot is also annoying. SOTW has a lot of issues, but I wouldn't consider it a BAD movie, more of an unnecessary movie that quite honestly didn't need to exist.
Same
Well technically they didn’t stay in the woods that long in the first movie 😅
@@gracekim25 I mean true, but in Secret of The Wings, Bobble was scared at the mere *mention* of the Winter Woods, why exactly would they fly there in the first movie if it was that scary?
The first three movies had a Minister of Winter, and it was perfectly safe to travel into the Winter Woods.
I still really loved the movies, but yeah. That was one of the first things I noticed about Secret of the Wings, and it kinda annoyed me the whole time. Also the fact that when you compare the scene of tink being born in the first film to the one with her sister, there was only one dandelion floof thing that made it, not two.they really just shoehorned tink's twin in and it still kinda bugs me a little.
Rather than being the one dimensional jealous fairy from 'Peter Pan', she was a well rounded interesting character. You don't always get that with background females
Fun fact: On Christmas when tinker bell "Flys" from the castle they replace her with Perry winkle!
I know a girl that’s job is to be the tink that flies from the castle. It is the ONLY job, she doesn’t even walk around the park or do meet and greets with guests. All she is employed to do by Disney is get harnessed up, zip line down and then go home. 😅

Just out of curiosity: Does Queen Clarion even have legs? I am asking because she is 50% glitter
oh god(or clarion maybe...in this universe who knows), I never thought about that.
I'm pretty sure she left footprints in one of the books, so probably
Clarion teleports and just kinda appears via pixidust so idk if she even is a fairy.
Right. Like...is she a different species than the other fairies? Because she has butterfly wings, not fairy wings like the rest of the fairies. If not, how did she get those wings? Was she born with them and just happened to become the Queen? Like someone above mentioned, she literally materializes out of thin air. Also, somehow the entirety of her skirt is made of an infinite flow of pixie dust that fades into oblivion at the bottom? And where are her legs? Are they really short, or does she literally have no legs? I could ask the same of the ministers, whose clothes also fade into oblivion at the bottom. So many questions, so little answers.

I really miss the Tinkerbell movies. They practically made up the majority of my childhood. Going back and re-watching them now almost 13-14 years later its insane how they have a different meaning now to the meaning back then.
It's a shame since Disney was gonna make a 7th and final movie about tink meeting Peter Pan but unfortunately it got cancelled.
You didn't mention the character development Vidia went through in The Great Fairy Rescue which is a shame. I couldn't help but be touched when she freaked out seeing those butterflies the human dad pinned and framed to the wall, thinking that could happen to Tink too. Sure she lied afterwards to avoid her guilt but then confessed it was partly her fault that Tink was caught. Deep down, she cared about Tink too and in the end learned to get over her ego and appreciate Tinkerbell's eccentricities.
Also the group of fairies got some scenes about them struggling together without Tink which gave the audience more glimpses into their characters. In the previous movie they existed mainly to highlight Tink's self discovery journey, while in The Rescue they got to show off their talents, personalities more.
Agreed, plus we got to see the characters interact with our world, making the film hugely relatable to the target audience. The songs were brilliant, the story was quite simple, easy to follow and Lizzie was so sweet, I wished she was my sister! Definitely my favourite film of the entire series.
i feel that Vidia only bullied Tink out of jealousy mainly in the first movie, sure in the 3rd movie she was mean again, expect this time she got Tinkerbell
back like multiple times and stuff got the best of her
*(Vidia held Tink back when she was about to yell at the human dad when they both were hiding under the car,
Vidia tried to get her out and wanted to free her in the fairy house, the butterflies one she got so scared Tink was gonna be the next target,
she called for help to others, yeah she lied at first to put her guilt aside and like you said she DID confessed others about what really happens,
she was the only one that didn't laughed about Tink's anger issues, infact it was the opposite of it,
maybe that was her way so others can keep their mouths shut about Tink's anger issues, she even protected Tink while risking her own,
she even didn't wanted Tink to do dangerous things under the car just to free her, i see so many hints she got Tinkerbell back
even though they weren't friends at that time till the end of the movie)*
and much to my surprise, she maked all the efforts and wanted to make amends with Tink
and even possibly apologized to Tinkerbell and put all their rivalry aside so they befriended each other at the end of the 3rd movie
the biggest developments is definitely Vidia here, she's one of my favourite now :)
Simple , Disney Toon studios was closed down in 2018 , thus ending the legacy of Tinker bell films .

I remember when my sister was REALLY big into Tinkerbell and the "Fairies" franchise. She was mostly a fan of the universe set up before the movies, with the original, differing cast, and I think she fell off sometime after the movies started coming out.
Oh I remember those books
Same, but I only knew the comics. I felt very disappointed with the new cast so I never got into the movies. They felt bland.
Same!, tbh, maybe because I grew up with the books and comics, all the tinkerbell movies to me were 'meh', the world especially didn't feel as unique and grandiose and complete, I watched the first movies as they came out but with them, I started distancing myself from the Disney Fairies, I even stopped buying the comics when they changed them to the movie-verse (I had all the issues pre movie-verse, they're now with a younger cousin, but the books are still with me, I'm never parting from them, especially the first one called 'Nevermore and the fairie's secret' in Spanish). The movies kinda just made sad because the book had such good characters and stories and amazing worldbuilding, why would they want to change and re-do something that was 1)already done and 2)already wonderful, but maybe I'm just biased.
That happened to me! I just liked the cast better in the books
Same here too. I loved the books and the magazine comics so I thought the movies would be like a animation version of it but NOOOOOOO. I wish they would just animated the book stories for each characters per episodes or the magazine comic ones

From what I researched, is indeed kinda Frozen's fault. As you pointed, yeah apparently once Frozen came out the Fairy merch didn't sold as well and it was the Elsa stuff that sold more which led to Disney to cancel the series based on sales and focus instead on more Frozen stuff along with the Star Wars and LA adaptations. As someone who love the Fairy films this really soured my love for Frozen (already more than the fandom worship, over exposure and the Stupid Jack Frost ship) with Frozen 2 just seeing this decision as a stupid mistake by Disney.
What's even more sad, is that the final movie The Legend of the Neverbeast ends with the titular Beast falling asleep for 937 years, the last thing he (and we the audience) sees is Fawn saying farewell to the beast who will never see Tink and her friends ever again.. much like we ended up also with the cancellation. Is really tragic when you think about it and how many more adventures we ended up missing, especially as there was a 7th movie in the works but was cancelled because of "story problems", same reason for Gigantic.. yet that didn't stop them from rushing Frozen 2 😒
As for favorite fairies, Vidia, her edgy personality was a nice addition to the team and really wanted Rani from the books to be adapted sadly.

No one talks about how in the first movie/s they show the snow fairies with them during the celebration and they have a snow fairy queen but in “the secrets of the wings” they can’t live in warm areas and the snow fairy queen doesn’t exist. They have a guy leader instead.🤨
Global warming?
Well it’s weird because I see the winter queen in the first two movies and then the leader of the winter woods is a guy… maybe they are different? I mean, they implied in the second you could get to the winter season. The winter woods might be a whole new realm where ONLY Winter exists. It would make sense unless it’s a plot hole
Probably a plot hole.
Like, look at the first film vs Secret of the Wings. The way that they became sisters makes sense with the overall lore, but if you compare the scenes from both movies showing their births, you can tell it was definitely added in later than from the get-go.
I prefer the guy leader as he's more interesting and makes more sense in a way, but with a lot of other profit-motivated series, it was probably just an oversight.
(Sorta wacky but I'll take what I can get.)
Secret of the Wings takes the world the original movie set up and completely throws it out the window. It's a fine movie on its own, but in terms of being a part of the series, you basically have to say either Secret of the Wings is canon or the entire rest of the series is canon because they're both so contradictory to each other they can't both be true. There's so much about it, like the winter fairies showed up to Tinkerbell's welcome ceremony, you can see that only one of the dandelion puffs went to Neverland whereas Secret of the Wings shows two of them going there, when Clank and Bobble are giving Tink a tour of Pixie Hollow, they go through the Winter Woods and are completely fine, they get rid of the minister of winter in that movie and she just never shows up again (except she wasn't taken out of her role in the Pixie Hollow Online game) I don't know, even when me and my sisters were kids (we all loved these movies back then, I don't know if they still do), we watched this and were like...how is it at all possible that any of this is true the first movie showed everything completely differently. I always considered it the weak point of the series, especially because after that movie's success they felt like they had to shoehorn Periwinkle and the winter fairies into everything else that came out after it.
because of the plot hole i just kinda decided that woman and winter fairies that are there in the first two movies are representatives of the actual winter fairies. they’re the ones who tell the queen how things are going over there. was just my thought tho!
These movies were the only ones that I actually appreciated giving a backstory to and voice actors really did a good job playing their roles.

How old is vidia then holy shit
i don't know, i only know that Rosetta is the oldest out of Tink's friends but maybe who knows Vidia is lol xD
@@leontineketting97 DAmn, Rosetta might just be older than Queen Clarion. She's looking hella good for that age
Ever After High was the best show ever I wish it wasn't cancelled because of Descendants.
Wasn't Ever After High a Nickshkw though Desebdants is Disney. Sure those two compete but Desendants would have nothing to do with Ever After cause it would likely make them launch someother live action thing to go against it
@@rebeccajernigan6041 When descendants was released there was no more ever after high
@@rebeccajernigan6041 According to the video I watched, people were accusing EAH of copying Disney, and because Disney had more power, they couldn't afford to get a lawsuit which imo is just some bs
Descendants is trash
I mean Once Upon a Time did it better. I skipped the 5th season entirely, I'm not a Frozen fan.
The CGI was just as atrocious but it did the whole sons and daughters of the villains and hero a lot better
I watched " The Great Fairy Rescue" and "Secret of the Wings" around the time both were released and when Disney Plus was made available in my home country earlier this year (2021), I found the old films and watched them again. My god were they good! However, I have to slightly disagree with the ratings in the video somewhat. "The Great Fairy Rescue" was my favourite of the series, the plot is simple and enchanting, it's very relatable to the target audience of the films, the songs were fantastic and Lizzie (Elizabeth) was an adorable kid! "Secret of the Wings" comes as a close second. As for favourite character, Vidia is right up there. I know she was a d*** in the first film, but I like how her friends had perky, high-pitched voices and here she was with a more adult-like, deeper voice. Plus, she was very pretty in purple. Rosetta is also great, she was such a cutie, so too was Tink.
anyone else get absolutely MURDERED by the ending of the neverbeast movie, cuz I know I was balling my eyes out.
I’m 30 next year and yes, tears were legit.
Every damn time.
