pro tip: if you want to find synergy blessing you're gonna have to diversify your toolkit.
all the synergy blessings require multiple upgrades to your attacks from both gods you're fishing for the synergy between.
statues of harmony will always give you blessings needed for synergies or synergies if you have the blessings needed for them.
10:46 I think how hidden rift giving reward works that it picks from both sides like the two blessing's (Navolik and Zalvoon) and one extra thing (and also love your video's :D)

The fox and bird have amazing sinergy, you need the fox bolt, any 1 of these : fire attack/launcher/assist/dash and 1 othe blessing from the fox, forgot wich one exactly but is any one of 4 blessings other then attack, dash, launcher and assist, and this is one of the best sinergyes, is amazing
3 videos in, and had this feeling like i saw this game some where, and then it hit me, the art style and combat animations with sound design feels like rogue legacy 2, for a second i thought cellar door games release another game.
not going to lie lol i feel like the axe-hammer combo is intentionally built to look weak but when you practice with it for a while and get some a few upgrades you become god-like
So, from what I've seen in your videos so far, to get the true ending you need to defeat the Priestess five times and finish a run with at least one blessing from each spirit. I'm guessing this because the altar at the end of the run has runes from all of them, and they light up if you have a corresponding blessing. The only one you didn't get in this specific run was Ashfarum, the secret spirit.
OMG! Dual hammer/axe is my favorite weapon, and I didn't know the down-air worked like that! I thought they flopped on the ground because I tiled down too hard!
It took me 17 minutes to realize the confusing in the title is the status effect and not beelz being confused.

Which do you think is better? This or skul. I think skul. ESPECIALLY PHYSICAL OLIVE TREE CUDGEL LITTLE SKUL. also I just did a mess of a run 6 arms 4 rapid 4 courage UNIQUE genie with bomber. He had olive tree, 2 copies of hope slasher and the omen soul killer but he somehow still had gold rapier and kendo stick. Sadly I got 2 shot by phase 2 hero when he had 1/2 life

Clone is still shotgunning, so now you got a shotgun shuriken and big boy one, orrrr he figures it out at the end lol

Sometimes you just need to dual wield, ngl now i'm intrigued to see more alternative forms being added to the other weapons
Launcher do the most shield damage, so they're a good opener on shielded enemies
edit: nvm you knew that already, but something you might not know is that bolts seem to have inherent spike builit in, so using your bolt on an off-platform enemy is basically an instant kill
Some Bolts definitely feel better for sniping enemies and if I recall the wolf bolt (big aoe circle around you) has some pretty good knockback.
Alt forms I think beelz will go insane with the link blades and Scyth. Sadly the glove turn into the heavy grappler archetype super slow, but fun cause clap and grab lol

If you hold down R2 after using your clone it will stay in place. Also you really should be diversifying your blessings so you can get a ton of blessing synergies. I'm getting 6 to 7 per run now and makes the harder difficulties much easier.

You have to unlock the legendary blessings, they are crazy. Only got three of them so far but they are nuts. FYI you just have to max out one of the spirits shrines to get them then look at the codex to see how to get the lego blessing.
Whenever an enemy is about to attack, they glow white, including bosses. It seems that if you dodge right after the glow you can dodge the attack, except for projectiles. Correct me if I'm wrong

Spiritfall does the Hades thing, where you have Dual and Legendary blessings that get unlocked if you have the prerequisites for them. For example, if you get the sneaky raccoon + frost bear dual blessing (requires an attack, dash, launcher, bolt, or assist from both), you sneak attack automatically on frosted enemies.
The legendary blessings only get enabled if you unlock that spirit's full tree, so it can be a good reason to be a completionist and actually unlock the whole thing.
If you look in the spirit's page in the codex, it'll tell you what you need for the blessing that have prereqs like the dual ones ("synergies") and the legendaries if they're unlocked
you should try not putting all of the main attacks on one spirit cause there's duo boons like in hades that usually have the requirement of having a basic attack of both gods. you can check them in the journal thing to see the exact prerequisites. they also all have a legendary which you need specific advanced boons from them for.

It's so weird, just how DIFFERENT we play this game. You are SO much more patient than I am. Meanwhile I'm spamming dodge on cooldown through all my fights. It does damage and has a short cooldown, and I just want the things to DIE so they can't hurt me.
I don't think I have ever, once, been grabbed by the penultimate boss. I just dodge everywhere and all his attacks miss.
The last boss is a HEADACHE for me though. I feel like every single one of her attacks hit both where you are, and where you will be if you just try to dodge them without standing back first. I've yet to win against her without burning a recovery.
Pretty crazy. Second to last dude is the hardest fight in the game by a large margin. I'd argue the final boss, the lady with the balls is even easier for me than the very first one with the big sword.
@Beelz55 The first boss with the big sword regularly wipes the floor with me because it's so early i don't even have all my attack blessings filled in yet. There's a difficulty modifier that upgrades the first two bosses that I can't touch because she absolutely destroys me when I do.
She's nothing compared to the final boss for me, though. She's my run-ender. My guess is that I have the reaction time of a potato--if I try to play cautious the way you do, she bops me before I can react to her tells.
The only way I've beaten her is when I've built up so much damage I can win a straight up slugging match with her. Last night I managed to put out 800-damage critical-confused-perfect launcher hits on her, and I still only had 10 hp at the end.
All the other bosses, if you move enough, you'll be on the other side of the arena any time they try to hit you. The last boss just waves her fingers, and balls erupt from the walls before i know what's up. The final boss has like 70% accuracy on me no matter how I move.
this game might be inspired from platform fighters im thinking

Yes, the Clone shoots Out His own Scythe head from Equinox's Launcher, and both you and the Clone can parry either Head

Damn, I haven't actually played a proper smash game since Brawl.... or Multiversus if we count that. I don't really jump on platform fighters much.
What will happen, if you steal both rewards from statue too much?
After the third time the statue won't offer any more rewards for the rest of the run. So best to be greedy near the end when there aren't many statue rewards left to find.
Did you start a new game? I was really hoping I could use my early access file because I had everything unlocked but it recommended to start a new game because the story may not progress on an early access save 😞

So you are doing these from left to right? I like the alt hammer but the ground attacks all feel terrible to me so i have just been using mask of solesh and playing floor is lava like a b*tch instead of gitting gud
I agree there are some moves these hammers have that feel pretty tough to use. I'm looking forward to the rest of the weps. I suppose I should do them from left to right.
