      Miro for the presentation. If you mean the diagram/slide itself, it’s all custom designed for our courses and not created with a productivity tool.

    I understand that Todoist only holds "speedies" but is it also used to initially capture longer tasks that aren't business related or should they be captured somewhere else?

    • @paperlessmovement
      @paperlessmovement  29 днів тому

      Yes for more complex task, that go into our Project Management system, they could be captured on Todoist as an intermediate tool and then being processed into the final destination. The reason for this step could be already the frictionless capturing compared to directly capture it in the Project Management system. How to ensure consistent processing and other steps to consider are explained in greater detail in our membership. So if you're interested to get the full hang of how to implement ICOR in your own productivity system, I'd recommend to have a look here: paperlessmovement.com/join

    Do you prefer Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 and why? 😊

    • @paperlessmovement
      @paperlessmovement  29 днів тому +1

      Google Workspace all the way! Paco (our Co-Founder) relies on it for all four his enterprises, and I've utilized it for over a decade in the corporate world (in combination with Microsoft), and more recently in the Paperless Movement. The primary motivation for our choice is its seamless integration with other platforms. Additionally, the reliability and accessibility of Google, which is entirely web-based, are key points comparing to Microsoft, which is still lacking in some areas. However, to note, ICOR allows us to optimize any Microsoft setup for effectiveness too. We've recently demonstrated this with one of our newest Inner Circle members who could only use Microsoft tools. We continually emphasize that the specific tool you use does not matter. As long as the tool-agnostic methodologies and workflows are best applied, it will serve your needs effectively.

      @@paperlessmovement Thank you very much for your detailed answer! Your information is always so valuable.
      I also tend to Google. My only concern is that I might need more isolated solutions with Google and have higher costs compared to Microsoft? Microsoft, for example, offers a whiteboard app, webinars etc.
      I prefer Google for everything else :).
      Am I just making a mistake in my thinking about the isolated solutions and the costs?

    • @paperlessmovement
      @paperlessmovement  29 днів тому

      I'm not fully aware about the cost differences. However, if tools are used to their full potential, the ROI is always there. Btw, Google has a whiteboard too "Jamboard". However, they remove it by October 2024. The thing is, we never believe in one tool (or suite) for everything. To stay on the example for Whiteboard, we are using Miro as neither Google nor Microsoft come close when it comes to efficient team whiteboarding. Spending extra money is again the ROI in removing friction from daily work by leveraging tool specific superpowers and therefore saving time.
      This being said, there are many reasons to use Microsoft over Google and vice versa. So you are starting a new business and wondering about which ecosystem to use? If you're already a member, please feel free to share your use case and more details in our closed community and I'll give you a more detailed response over there. 👉 paperlessmovement.com/join

    This is good for KNOWN tasks. But what about UNKNOWN territory? Where you can’t clearly define the properties of the task and also the time needed to complete it. RND for example. For example, I had a project I thought will take 2 years. In the end it took 10 years to complete and a lot more of energy and resources I allocated at the start. However, I completed this task or goal. And I find myself in the same projects now. It took years to complete such projects.

      A project that took 10 years instead of 2 to complete? I‘d need to know more details but in general I’d expect that this project could have been broken down into smaller projects/goals. We as humans tend to set too ambitious goals what we can achieve in one day but usually underestimate what we can achieve in one year. Having ten years to complete a project seems like building an Airport or a huge Bridge? Even in big corporate where I was working on billion $ projects it’s impossible to estimate correctly and we might needed 1+ year, IF a project was never done before. However, 2 vs 10 years is huge difference, so I‘d love to learn more about what those projects are and with enough context I‘m happy to make a video diving into how ICOR would be able to improve things in your case too. We didn’t come across a business use case where ICOR failed. So challenges are always accepted 😁👍

      @@paperlessmovement it was completely unknown territory for me. I had a general vision of what needs to be achieved. Also i have no access to CORRECT resources as all of those are CLOSED KNOW HOWS so basically i was searching/creating KNOW HOW standards for years to come only to UNDERSTAND what should i be aiming for. It was financial trading scalping learning. I read all of the literature i could watched videos. Even had a forum thread where i put results of my experiments. This thread had 1.6 millions of views. Later the concepts i was researching became popular. So.
      First it was my naive approximation. I was doing this ALONE no one to support me. Huge body of content and huge body of hypothesis to work out. After 1 year i thought i had a success only to fall down a victim of reality check with field tests. After that i set upped new direction and started to dig. And things started to become more transparent. I started to understand what i DO NOT KNOW. And once again huge body of content and hypothesis to work out. After 2 years i had ROUGH standards in my head. Like hmmmm.Technical requirements is more correct. So i knew what i need and standards but i do not knew HOW TO ACHIEVE what to use and which methods tools i need. So this took less then a year. And i had a moderate success with a field tests but it still was unstable. And i started to search for people who can help me as i had extensive vocabulary and understanding of what to look for in speach and writing. In lexicon of people i needed. And for some time there was no one. And one day i stumbled upon one audio podcast and GOD DAMN I HEARD the words and things this dude was talking and i understood this is what i need. And i followed for this dude for or 2 years to come and later he opened education. And even after money and time paid it took another 2 years to fully grasp what this dude was teaching. It was a big journey. As for now i am building my productivity system for me and my childrens and i m already know that i DO NOT HAVE STANDARDS so i am looking for those. And you guys awesome. For now it took only 2 years to fully understand the landscape. And now i have a rough understanding of how to pilot UNKNOWN territory projects. So here am i ))))

      @@paperlessmovement if you use top down approach you CAN brake down to a smaller steps. But with bottom up projects on the totally unknown territory i do not know. Maybe we should not aim to concrete goals. I need to think about this.
