I've been following you for over a decade and you're the most consistent booktuber ever. Do not worry about releasing "unoriginal" videos. You make so many videos for us to watch and I'm always discovering new books from your channel.
You are so sweet and your opinion matters - we all love you and your channel! You don’t need to justify or make excuses or apologize for being you! I hope your channel is fun for you and not a source of guilt. 💜 As a longtime fan of your channel, I mean this comment in the most positive way. 🐦 🌸 📖
Just did the tag as well, and wanted to say that you are one of the Booktube creators that inspires me. I’m a new mom to toddlers through foster care, and it’s absolutely nuts, but I’m realizing how important it is for me to have a creative outlet. Your consistency and commitment to this work is amazing, and it’s definitely helped me remind me that it’s possible and important to make time for what you love.
Bahahaha I feel you with the skipping to your granny era! I have taken up crocheting and to say I’m obsessed is an understatement! I would love to see more of your hobbies!
You are doing great by the way! I appreciate your honesty in your videos. Sometimes people focus too much on the shiny new objects, constantly being innovative and changing. Sometimes it’s completely great to do what you enjoy and do well.
I personally have just started out with UA-cam and I truly understand just how much time this takes up. I don't have kids and I can only imagine how hard it would be as a mom. It's more than a full time job by itself, I salute you!
I feel the same way about classical music. NO ONE. Everyone around me thinks I'm weird. I'm also an avid reader and have been all my life. If there's something I'm interested in, I read everything I can find about it! Love your content!❤❤❤
There is a season for everything. My boys are in their 20s and it seems like yesterday they were little! I think your channel is great. Keep up the good work on UA-cam, as long as you enjoy it. ❤
I noticed I've been focused on a lot of the new books too. I'd like to get out of that mind set because there are so many older books that could be 5 stars that I am missing out on. I enjoy your content because it's relatable. Your channel inspires me to want to read because you don't make it a race.
Bird Watching is awesome! It was something I used to share with my mom and now my husband. That's so sweet that you share birdwatching with your daughter. I bet she'll remember that fondly many years from now. Thanks for the video. I hope you are feeling much better and that your life is as stress free as possible. If you want to share, I'd love to hear what birds you see. We mostly get blue jays, sparrows, and chickadees, and turkey vultures on trash days. Occasionally, we see woodpeckers, cardinals, and once a cedar waxwing. Do you get any orioles or warblers? I would love to see those birds, but they don't usually come this far Northeast.
Love this!!! right now the bird I see are: House sparrows, house finch, northern cardinal, yellow rumped warbler, starlings, red wing blackbird, eastern bluebird, dark eyed junco, chickadees and more!
One thing I would like to read more is memoirs by people who fled North Korea. I read some last year and am currently reading through one right now. It honestly just is awe-inspiring to see the resilence of these people escaping the regime and risking it all. (I also watch youtube videos about the country too. The main one is Yeonmi Park.) Hope that all of you are feeling better. I'm sorry you got the flu and covid at the same time. That sucks!
I’ve been following you on and off. I like your videos. I sometimes like to put in my tbr your recommendations. Btw I am Brazilian, so… um abraço e continue fazendo seu trabalho lindamente.
I have heard that Millenials have skipped the mid-life crisis & gone straight to old granny hobbies, lol. I love to crochet & cross-stitch. I would love to see you doing homesteading stuff! I am terrible at keeping plants alive, lol. I'll stick to my yarns!
I am not a re-reader either. Too many other books to read. I also will not read McFadden anymore. Read 1 and DNF'd the 2nd. Your channel is great as it is. We're here for you. Don't put more pressure on yourself, it's more about enjoying what you do. Check out Amy Tan's Backyard Bird Chronicles!! I love gardening and making foods myself.
If you want to try to get into reading science fiction again, I would recommend reading I Robot by Isaac Asimov. It’s written in very plain language and the science isn’t too hard to get your head around.
The Thursday Murder Club is coming to television. Welcome to Derry (spinoff series from It) is coming to MAX. Murderbot novellas series is being made into a television series, staring Alexander Skarsgard. And Project Hail Mary, starring Ryan Gosling, is being made into a movie, but probably won't release until 2026.
Love your content and your sweet nature and smiling face!!Samesie - no thank you to Frieda McFadden she’s not for me as well as Alice Feeney I think I just don’t appreciate unreliable narrators and unlikeable characters. I tried the Lauren Asher book but I just couldn’t get into it I’m so looking forward to TJR’s new book, Abby Jimenez’s new book and finding new authors especially in the thriller/mystery genre
Hey Heather! I don't know if you'd remember me by my username; i used to be really active years ago. You sent me your copy of the first sisterhood of the traveling pants series. Anyway, i know i dont comment as much as i used to, but I've always been watching ❤ you're still one of my favorite youtubers. Keep up the hard work, we see you!

The crashing sound in the background as Heather talks about time constraints from being a mom is so relatable.

I'm waiting for the new Taylor Jenkins Reid as well

I just finished All the Colors of the Dark. I loved it, but I’ve seen a few people say they thought it was too slow.
