Just received mine today (ordered it in early January) and just out of curiosity, googled it for reviews, and here I am!
*_It is the perfect flashlight for adventure (and of course any other situations)_*
- IP67 (only mentions IP7 but it's really Ingress Protection 6 (Dust) & 7 (Water))
- Mine came with a 18650 cell (rechargeable battery)
- Anduril UI is super customizable, so PLENTY of lighting options
- EXTREMELY bright, Very nice light beam
- USB-C rechargeable is perfect for me as I migrated all my electronics to USB-C
- Comes with good accessories - clip, lanyard, headstrap, 18350 tube
- Magnetized tip to put it on magnetic metals so it stays in place
I bought the Gray model using an XPL 5A LED with a colour temperature of 4000 Kelvin - it is the closest to natural light during the day. Neutral White.
Perfect for hardcore adventure à la *Lara Croft or Nathan Drake,* or just for everyday use.
If I had to nitpick, I'd hoped it'd be IP68 but IP67 should be sufficient. I don't think I'll swim in underwater caves/underwater temples for more than 30 minutes anyway!
I rate it 10/10 - and I've been looking for a _perfect_ flashlight for adventure for years...

You should really STOP pointing anything bright at your camera.
SST20 version has no information about CRI... Do you know if it has CRI 95 like some other SST20 flashlights?
Has the Muggle Mode issue in Anduril been addressed yet? I wasn't sure if it was a temperature calibration problem, or if it was a UI issue where it ramps crazily, or turns on by itself.
Seems to be fine on this one. Usually muggle mode goes straight to min ramp when you ramp to max or just holds max ramp for a random time. Dunno why.
I ordered this Today to be my main headlamp after realizing my 3xAAA Energizer is just not reliable enough for longer hikes. I have to admit I'm having second thoughts after seeing how bulky this is on a head. But the worst scenario is this thing being my only flashlight in "pack light" scenarios as it doesn't require a separate battery charger or a spare cell (I assume it can be turned on when connected via USB C like most of the other flash lights with a charging port.
Yes it works without a battery or whilst charging, I forgot to mention that!

I'm considering this one or the Sofirn SP40. Does it get heavy after a while?
I'd strongly suggest this one (Astrolux HL01). A 18350 Cell Tube comes with the package if you wish to downsize it and lower its weight, and it has magnetized bottom to stick it to magnetic surfaces. Overall I find it offers a little more and the build quality, although very similar to the SP40, seems more durable. The knurling on the top of the HL01 has a better 'pattern' in my opinion, but that argument is negligible ahahah

Probably this at a push but you can't go wrong with Sofirn. I've not had a faulty one yet.
