What is a Geochron?

Since 1964, the Geochron is the world's only mechanical geographic chronometer, a handmade world clock in Portland, Oregon. The Geochron is found in the Pentagon, the White House Situation Room, conference rooms, airports, and the private houses of people around the world who appreciate time, everywhere.
The Geochron has been featured in movies like Salt, Clear and Present Danger, the Sum of all Fears, and The Hulk, and Flight of the Condor, as well as NCIS on television.
There are no circuit boards, no computers, it's entirely mechanical with 300 moving parts to create a clock that shows the Terminator Line, Grey Line, Calendar, Analemma, Time Scale in 12 or 24 hour formats, and Day of the Week... on a 2 x 3 foot world map that rotates at one inch an hour.
