Your professionalism has won me over (even though I had no reason to dislike Geochron). When a manufacturer can compare their product to a similar one and not put that compared product down in any way shape or form - that's classy. The fact that Geochrons are fairly expensive (especially after buying a transceiver) is the only reason I run HamClock. Some day soon I hope to have a Geochron in my shack. Well done!
Same here. Unfortunately I've had to send my Geochron back for repairs twice. It's still not working the way it's supposed to but I have a work around. It's kind of annoying.
I love this and have always wanted something like this for my office above my desk I found out about this like 15 minutes ago and am already sold. Will be buying in the very near future
Hi Patrick, my GeoChron 4K solar-weather image is very narrow on my display and impossible to read the data. Your's appears nice and wide where you can actually read the data.
If you want a product for Amateur Radio 📻 operation alone, don't care about the other features/data or having the brilliant 4K display, the Ham Clock is a solid budget option. If you need the additional features/data over and above Amateur Radio, value a stunning 4K display on a large monitor AND have significantly more disposable resources (including $$$ for subscriptions), then the Geochron is the right fit for you. I need to drive to work. A Honda Civic will do the job just fine. A nice Ferrari would make the trip more fun & interesting. It's all about what you need & what you can afford. 73.

As a HAM radio operator, I have both... Hamclock gets a 24" monitor but the Gechron is on a 55" 4k Samsung.
