We use it probably a dozen days each year on our small raft.-original review- We got this motor the other day and tested it out. I don't have anything to compare it to, but it seems good to me. It has all the features advertised - the motor housing is metal. We will see how it performs longer term and I will revise this review if needed. Some initial observations:- Good thrust, moves our boat around really well- It comes with a circuit breaker but no switch - so there's no way to kill the motor other than yanking the connection off the battery. I installed an inline switch.- The mount bracket is plastic and I worry it might break- There are a number of plastic parts that I worry about, but the most important ones are metal or some kind of composite
John on the TM you use the zero mount or offset mount? Also for the 34, the long twist knob that goes through the 34 to the mount do you use that rubber washer on that twist knob
You seem to have an interface somewhere with your live scope setup .my screen never does that. I would try using your noise rejection that might clear up those radar looking lines.
Perspective was a gimmick they added to get sales. You will never see an accomplished angler use it. And as John said 360 is much better for that view.
Get rid of that lower bracket on 360 and put another one up top. Works allot better dont need slack in wires at lower bracket. I got same set up with 360 and bfe brackets.

Great video thank you. You may be able to clear the noise and still get the detail you want by setting noise reject to high and your gain to 70

Why add it to the side of motor? How does it go into perspective mode?

It’s definitely the trolling motor transducer interference or the transducer on the transom
Mine is shaft mounted and no interference at all.
I do not have them lines going across like that , that would drive me nuts lol

It's not there in person. It's created by the camera.
The ferrite bead should be installed closer to the connector not to the transducer...
The flashing on the screen is that just interference?
i think thats just how it comes out through a camera lens...like how LED lights look like theyre flickering on video...

The waves as you call them is not normal. My 34 is does not do this and is clear.
That image looks absolutely horrible. My LVS34 on a 126sv looks a lot cleaner.
