I live all the way in the UK, Birmingham, and had been studying different methods and taking on tips from different videos. And omg I came across yours, thank you. I totally love some of the simple methods you use. It's been a pleasure and a joy to watch. Though finances is done in $ even I get the gist what you do. Please keep it up.😂❤
This makes more sense while other tutorial be like oh stuff here and stuff there, they never be saying how to calculate such. Thank you gor being more detail, now I am excited to "divide and stuff".. 🤭 that what I rather call it then saying budget.
Thanks for sharing, I love the simplicity n everything has a place. An idea transportation funds could also be public transportation, n sinking funds I'm always trying to stay ahead of car repairs - that's another good one.
I really never understood how to budget and your video really helped me understand in an organized way to use envelopes. What/where do credit card debt fall into place? And I mean real credit card debt for a family
I’m starting out with budgeting and I have a dumb question (so I do apologize in advance). What is the difference between a savings sinking fund and an emergency sinking fund? More so in what scenarios would you be required to dip into a specific fund. Thank you!!
I know this is old but I thought I’d give you an example of how I use my envelopes. When the starter went out on my car I used all of car maintenance and a little of savings. When my husband got sick from covid I used our emergency fund. Our emergency fund covers 3 months of his pay checks for that reason! I just started working again on Saturday and Sunday to build those both back up quickly while homeschooling our daughter M-F. I work in healthcare so I can find work easy. This time I’ll double what we saved just in case. He was only off two weeks but I like to keep money in those envelopes at all times. When the main breadwinner is not working, that’s an emergency lol 😂. Sorry that was so long.
Hi, new subscriber here! Can you tell me when you will have the quilted pink binders back in stock? I just made a purchase on your etsy but would love that binder as well....thank k you 🙂
hi is it only me 😊, wondering the total of all your fixed, variables & sinking funds is $2257 only there is $743 missing watched twice to check. Just saying love your minimalist way of budgeting ❤
I live in NY, we don’t need a car here. So we don’t pay for car payment, gas, auto insurance. We use public transportation. Groceries expense is split between my husband and I. This is my portion. 😜💙
New subbie here this was very helpful I’m new to this saving budgeting stuff so I’m trying to learn what works for me and this was easy to follow I started following you on tik tok and ig as well the stuff you create are so cute hopefully when you restock I can get some things ☺️
