silver buffalo or prospecter rounds are the best..closest to spot ..constitutional can be tricky especially morgans or peace..the have two faces..collectable or spot silver...which can leave you at a loss.
I think if you buy the Morgan’s and peace raw from an LCS you’re fine, it’s when you start to buy graded ones and not knowing what you’re doing where you can lose a lot of money
I prefer the Eagle on the Type 2 and the USA text placement on the Type 1. I’m hoping for the 40th anniversary of the Eagle they use the walking liberty half reverse design.

I don’t have any huge regrets since I’ve mostly bought sovereign coins when they’ve been on sale with a low premium, but I think I would have bought fewer coins and more 10 oz bars to maximize my ounces per dollar.
When I started in January, I naively assumed that online was the way to go; that was a huge lesson. LCS is the way to go, as in $40 cheaper for a 1/10 and 1/4 AGE than online. And I would not waste my time and money on Apmex bars or Apmex anything for that matter. But I love my first silver bar: a Bison Bullion hand pour 10 ouncer!
I am not sure I'd change a thing IF I were to start stacking at the age I did 25+ years ago. I'd seek the most recognizable, most liquid form of silver and gold that my predetermined budget would buy. Once at a comfortable amount in my stack, I might splurge on some real pretty premium pieces. IF I were starting out at my current age of 65, I would take a certain percentage of my liquid net worth and cash and buy a monster box of type 1 silver eagles, one thousand pretty BU Roosevelt dimes, and the rest on GOLD eagles, buffalos, maples, and fractionals.
Hey Stateside. I know in another video and in the comments below, you have people asking about why Libertads are called coins and not rounds. Banco de Mexico says they are legal tender and value fluctuates with value of the metal. You can use it just like all money. I've never been to Mexico to try this, but that's why it's a coin and not a round.
I’m strictly for sovereign coinage as well as boarding countries like Canada and Mexico. When in need to sell I always try to get the most when selling plus what happens to the LCS when SHTF, can they be trusted and what about the development of the Bullion Banks will they except any kind of silver or just sovereign. There is NO guarantee that your generic gold or silver in any form will be excepted at these newly developed bullion banks. For me I can not assume this or that or even what if.
I hate these “What If” scenarios. No matter how I search I’m not really getting my questions answered, but for sure everybody has their opinions and if my PMs are going to be used for food and essentials maybe this is where we should be investing. Regardless when SHTF you will never get spot especially during the first few months.
My only "regret" would be not starting when I was much younger. Oh, and your thing about the Libertad, premium yes, but they're also a sovereign coin recognized globally.
I bought some trash 2 weeks ago. 27.00 a piece. 1992 Olympic set, some others....Im guessing they are sterling silver. Gonna trade them in for gold or some dimes.... I was drinking, bad buy in my book.
Technically you’re right but since a government mint makes them people like to refer to them as coins instead of grouping them in with low quality rounds
Me I am now 71, If I could start over, I would go into Gold First Pre 1933. Instead, I went Poor man's gold," silver." No regrets I made money...My fear is my Kids put us back into the dollar I spent the later parts of my life getting out of..... . The fake dollar backed by nothing Just ordered a tube of mint sealed type II at about 6.00 over spot. just to have the last year IMO The dollar is dead.
I'd just buy genuine silver and gold. There's a thousand videos talking about this, they're all going on about next to nothing. Nobody cares what exact rounds someone buys et al., etc. Just buy genuine metal for as cheap as possible and you're done. Everything else is cosmetic (overpriced).
Why are your thoughts on certified slab coins so negative, have you not searched ebay completed and sold categories and noticed not only what they are selling for as well as the volume of sold transactions. There is definitely a difference in premiums between raw and certified. So I’m assuming you are only a stacker and not a collector and only purchase locally.
@@sailfly2869 Stack first, collect second.... I have a lot of nice collectable coins definitely ms65 or better not slabbed. i wasn't being negative towards slabs, they just are not a good way to stack. Which is what this show was about... The premiums and inflated value of a slabbed coin are a nice way to collect and preserve specimens, but if things go south would you be willing to crack open a ms67 CC Morgan ,only get silver spot price for it to pay for groceries or trade for essentials.

NO NO NO! Dont do it.. I will never buy junk silver / constitutional silver ever. Nobody knows what the hell it is and people will look at you sideways trying to buy something with a dime nickel or quarter lol you have to convince them that it's worth something and they're not going to be convinced in a SHTF scenario. Stick to the nice shiny silver rounds and coins that say 1 oz 999 find silver. You don't have to convince people what it is because it says what it is and it's nice and shiny not dirty shity looking coins. Trust me bro don't do it. I'll tell you what the 90% silver stands for, it stands for 90% of people don't know what the f*** it is..
We must run in different circle cause I’ve never had a problem buying/selling or discussing constitutional silver with anyone. I remember you saying in past videos you don’t like it but many many people do
Another thing, in the SHTF situation, people are going to learn about precious metals very quickly or they won't survive. The people that don't understand 90% will learn very quickly.
People who don't understand 90% also don't know what the heck a generic round or an American silver eagle is either. Also, You can refine old silver coins into bars and rounds but you cant do vice versa. 90% is getting rarer as time goes by

Luv 😍 reverse proofs 😜🎯
They are the most beautiful coin!
You’ve come a long way and learned a lot since January! Well done
IF I were starting out at my current age of 65, I would take a certain percentage of my liquid net worth and cash and buy a monster box of type 1 silver eagles,
one thousand pretty BU Roosevelt dimes, and the rest on GOLD eagles, buffalos, maples, and fractionals.
Hope you’re doing well brother!
@@StatesideStash ... TY, Sir.
It's a slow roll comeback, but I am making progress.
@@silversleuth007 hell yeah!
Where do you buy from
My LCS or monument metals
Hey Stateside. I know in another video and in the comments below, you have people asking about why Libertads are called coins and not rounds. Banco de Mexico says they are legal tender and value fluctuates with value of the metal. You can use it just like all money. I've never been to Mexico to try this, but that's why it's a coin and not a round.
I have also heard this! Thank you for commenting this, hopefully people read this and helps them understand
The Libertads guarantee spot price
Buy eagles, buffalos, bars in silver and gold!!
100%!! I don’t own any gold bars yet though
Agree 💯
My entire collection… this.
It’s hard to say what would or wouldn’t be acceptable by a trusted LCS in a SHTF scenario
I hate these “What If” scenarios. No matter how I search I’m not really getting my questions answered, but for sure everybody has their opinions and if my PMs are going to be used for food and essentials maybe this is where we should be investing. Regardless when SHTF you will never get spot especially during the first few months.
That 96.7% OZ of pure “silver” looks just like gold! You know where I could get one? 😉😜
“Did I say silver earlier?” 😂 he almost caught himself 🤷🏻♂️
I get mine at coin shows! Aren’t they beautiful
i need to find me a coin show like that!
Sunshine silver with the SI mintmark on the reverse!!😃
The eminem quote is always a win lol
Haha always!!!
Perth bullion , libertads and eagles , in any order
Absolutely!
I've found the best deals on constitutional silver at lgs's.
Lgs or LCS?

Cant go wrong with what i already stacked 100oz bars and eagles. Proofs and junk silver finds its wwy to ya eventually
Well done
My only "regret" would be not starting when I was much younger.
Oh, and your thing about the Libertad, premium yes, but they're also a sovereign coin recognized globally.
I think we all regret not starting earlier 😢
I bought some trash 2 weeks ago. 27.00 a piece. 1992 Olympic set, some others....Im guessing they are sterling silver. Gonna trade them in for gold or some dimes.... I was drinking, bad buy in my book.
Never drink and buy PMs 🤣

For me 90 present doesn't do it. I love silver Buffalows and ten oz bars.
Beauty of stacking is there’s no wrong way!
Was hoping you weren’t going to quote Eminem so I could comment that 😂
@@mr.btheband haha I have an old audience who would never have caught it
I would just buy generic silver rounds and bars. And if I was buying gold, I would stick to gold buffaloes.
Solid way to buy
I'd get more silver dollars early on. And a little more gold.
Like Morgan’s and peace dollars or eagles?
This video brought to you by moms spaghetti.
Knees weak?
You did say that your double eagle was silver by accident lol
I knew it! I wasn’t gonna restart the video 🤣
@@StatesideStash great video!
Why do they call libertads coins instead of rounds? They dont have face value on it.
Technically you’re right but since a government mint makes them people like to refer to them as coins instead of grouping them in with low quality rounds
Aren’t the Libertads based on spot for face value that is printed on the coin?. I’m not sure please correct me.

Dimes!
If you're buying it, ya better be willing to die with it!
@@chassisresearchkid long term hold!
Some people have preferences 🤷🏼♂️
Buy the coin not the holder ... build relationships with like minded people in your community especially your LCS.
Your LCS is your most important relationship

@@StatesideStash Did you ever get that email I sent you of the 1938 S Jefferson I found?
@@Steelythestacker exactly
People who don't understand 90% also don't know what the heck a generic round or an American silver eagle is either. Also, You can refine old silver coins into bars and rounds but you cant do vice versa. 90% is getting rarer as time goes by
