Using the incubator could more than quadruple your yearly production of ducklings. You would need to collect eggs daily and leave one or two behind so she continues to lay to complete the clutch. The eggs left behind should be marked to make sure the next day you remove those first. All eggs that are laid in a bad spot should be removed without leaving any behind, and that will deter continued use of that bad spot.
Wrong about the incubator. Muscovy eggs are best hatched under the hen. The success rate in the incubator is very low for muscovy dux.
@@quail4sale334 I bred muscovy ducks in S. America back in the 80's and had 150 hens at any one time. If the eggs are incubated by the hens, I could get 3.5 clutches of about 15 eggs, totalling 52 eggs per year. If incubator was used the eggs are collected and I got about 110 eggs per hen per year. My hatchability was about 88%, nearly twice as much ducklings per hen.
Another point to note is that most people use the incubator setting for chickens. Those settings, especially the humidity, will definitely give a poor hatching rate for muscovy ducks.
Beautiful farming..
Recycled them into salted 🧂 🥚 🪺 🥚 eggs 🥚 yummy 😋
😂Best of all I love your Humility plus the Knowledge and beautiful Presentation. Keep it up Good going. Am a farmer too. ....😊
I'm very interested in raising chickens but I still watch your duck videos
🙏Support from the USA 🙏
Great video, keep the ornamental fish farming alive too🇯🇲🇯🇲
Dex you must decide what you want....is it maximum production ( thinking like a businessman) or do you wish to allow natural production ( letting nature take its course).
Are you perhaps a combination of both. It is only when you decide on what you want , will you then be able to formulate a plan.
I wish you luck my friend 🙏🏻
Thanks my friend.
i just started a backyard chicken farm..my main lines are Shamo-Asil (1 roo and 5 pullets)
Rhode Island Red (1 roo and 1 pullets)
Broiler (3 roo and 3 pullets)
Buff Orphington (1 roo)
Hope to mix the beauty and broody nature of Shamo-Asil to my Broilers and R.I.R :)
😮u gonna mix the breeds😮😊😅
🎉❤ Good morning 🌅 po

Hello sir, Im waiting for your restocking of angelfish in your petstore at sucabon hehe, i hope i can meet you there one day when i go and buy some angelfish
Very soon!
telur itu ada dimana-mana. selamat mister Dex, sukses selalu
I like the video sir. Very wonderful. Hope you find sucess always God bless. But my personal advise sir is to keep the cover photo of the video RELEVANT to the video, as not to mislead any content not actually found in the video. thanks more power
❤❤❤
❤
👍
Good day sir Dexter 😅😊
Good day bro thanks for still being there.
This is total chaos. Hatching eggs outside in this swampy environment full of predators is asking for trouble.
Theyre muscovy dux. They are armed with talons (they're a tree duck). They hurt predators who come to harass their eggs or ducklings.
Hi po ❤
Sir papalita kog rabbit pang breeding .
Eve sir keep safe more power godbless
Maganda cgro nyan sir dex na kalbuhin at putulin ang mga damo na malapit sa place nila kc pra wla silang pupugaran na damuhan
Removing the tall grasses will lessen the presence of snakes and other predators that will endanger both the fowls and the people in the farm.
Why my muscovy duck doesn't lay egg in winter? I see yours are laying.
Actually we don't have Winter here brother.
Do you export

@@DextersWorld salamat sir...
Why can't you use incubator for duck egg as like you do for quill
An incubator is fine for mallard-type eggs. Dexter's dux are muscovies (tree dux). Their eggs notoriously fail in incubators. The Muscovy hens are the best broody moms.
how is the production of snails
Hopefully there are no snakes in your garden as snakes like eggs.
I suggest you fence off all that swamp land, and just let the ducks swim in your pond and wander around wherever, but NOT in the swampy marsh. Make some nesting boxes under shade with straw or the swamp marsh reed, to make the boxes a bit more natural. Gather the eggs daily, and incubate them, This will give you maximum production that you are always talking about
and you wont have to worry about snakes etc, killing your hen or the ducklings.
Incubation for Muscovy duck eggs is not like other duck eggs. Incubating Muscovy eggs is a low success rate proposition. The muscovy hens have a higher success rate compared to an incubator.
I HOPE THATS NOT ALL YOUR FEEDING YOUR FLOCK, IT DIDN'T LOOK LIKE VERY MUCH FOOD FOR SO MANY BIRDS
It's our second round of feeling already bro.
Tell me Dexter - in your videos about ducks you can see that they swim in common ponds with catfish - the question is: do catfish eat baby ducks? and another question: you are in the tropics region - what about snakes in your region? TY
Yes catfish done at baby ducks my friend.
