Sir Dexter, since you're installing a masonry perimeter wall for your pond, and if you have intention of making the pond a little deeper, now is the time to work on it.
When making the pond deeper, make sure you're away from the boat house and masonry wall foundation.

How do you know if they are fertilized or not when you collect them ?
Bro,the other side of this pond wall, instead of putting back the soil,why not 1st put a canals,by using the big cement pipes or reinforced concrete pipes..in that way if theres a big flood this canals can help reducing the volume of water entering the perimeter..and about your ducks,before I have told you to do some perimeter fencing for them not to scattered throughout the land..coz in future it will make you difficult to collect the chicks n also watch over them,and also you will lose more profits than gaining..just saying 😊good day to all 😊
