Its 2020 and still there hasnt been any other anime that resonates in my heart more then KateKyo Hitman Reborn like the openings are so nostalgic with a hit of euphoria.
HoshiHiko same like this anime this something really special and I this finished the manga last week after deciding to finally read it and I fell in love all over again.
I think other Jump Mangas just have too much advantage compared to Katekyo which has ended its manga series for 6 years. Assuming if Katekyo's manga never ceased to update over the past 7 years (like JoJo, One piece and many others), then maybe it will eventually get another animation. But right now Katekyo is losing the fame it once had and new mangas like Kimetsu no Yaiba, One-punch man, and My Hero Academia all have a superior advantage and a plot that fits the current public taste.
The biggest thing though is still money. Making an anime that fits 2020 standard would probably require the tripled amount of funds Katekyo spent on making their first 203 episodes (if not more), and there's no guarantee how well the animation companies would profit by spending so much.
Right now, if Katekyo wants to gain the attention it once had, they might have to remake the plot of the first 203 episodes with some reduction of daily life plots because that was kind of the biggest reason why the original Katekyo anime had difficulty getting more viewers (seriously, to endure the first 19 episodes of mess before getting the taste of the real masterpiece is pretty torturing, and you can't exactly skip them because then you would miss the introduction of a lot of major characters )

Honestly, this series deserves to have the final 2 arcs animated, such an underrated gem, not my favorite anime, but despite its flaws it really has a special place in my heart.

The ending is kind of ass but the two final arcs are worth it. It's one of the few shonens that has an actually decent if not amazing final arc

Grew up with this when I was younger and decided to come back to it. finished reading the manga and watching the anime. This was a great anime to watch and manga to read. If only they could modernize it and give it animation JJK has. I swear people would love a season 2 with improved animation. The memories ;-;
Honestly like one of the best animes I have ever watched, it has one of the most unique plots in anime I have ever seen, I honestly wish that more people can see how beautiful this series actually is.
You’d be amazed at the amount of people who quit before episode 20 cause it’s just shit tier comedy and intro for the long lok

At first i had really no idea that it has a serious plot in it. I'm into slice of life/comedy anime so it kept me going. And then it got serious to the point that it change my anime preference. This was plainly damn epic

2024 and still warming my heart
Katekyo Hitman Reborn was the first anime I ever watched. It is still my favorite, even compared to masterpieces like Steins Gate, FMAB, Total Eclipse, HxH, Akame ga Kill, Monster, Yuri in Ice, ERASED, and more. There was just something so special about the character dynamics, the plot, the perfect harmony of tragedy and humor, the animation and music. It just came together to something that really can't be explained other than inspiring, intriguing, and memorable. I wish more people knew about this anime. It's so underrated jesus.

I’m growing in the way different from my imagine but I still love my self. I’ll still and will listen to Reborn song forevermore.

2021 and i still come back to this playlist to relive the amazing memories made with this anime. They really don't make anime like this anymore, a lot of the characters of modern anime don't come close to reborn and the attachment I had to them.
Even after six/ seven years....this is still my all time favourite anime and will probably stay that forever

25 now, was very young... don't remember how young maybe 12? Loved this anime to death! It may not hold up to modern examples but this one will always hold a place in my heart, before SAO, before attack on titan, before mha, there was this silly lil shounen +2 for extreme nostalgia

Yeah...the extreme humor that suited every character was so special, the joy and family aura that the Vongola had, and the thrilling development of the characters while still maintaining no development from their original qualities, with the attention to a mission that was all about family and saving the world for pure happiness was what made this show something I could grow up with from my first anime ever to my favorite anime to the end. IT even means famiglia to me to this day, and what I want to create in the one human family. It's truly special, and I'm so thankful for Akira Amano.
