I, personally, dont use combs on my hair. I've NEVER used this type to comb in my hair. People kill me though... So much to say. Long before these fake UA-cam hair gurus start telling folks not to use combs, that was most folks go-to. Hairstylists, for years, have used combs and the client still had healthy hair. The health of the hair is not dependent of the tool, but is dependent of the stylists knowledge of hair healthcare, products used, and the client care for their hair themselves. SmH A comb has never killed anyone's hair! It's the careless person that's using the comb (how they use it) that causes the damage. SmH
The stand alone Olaplex treatment repairs broken bonds, damaged by heat, chemicals, and other things that may cause damage to your hair, and for the people that are questioning my tools, and how I use them, just check out my page on IG, @sister2sister_beauty and you’ll see, I always keep the integrity of the hair in tact 😉
rhonda moffit I wish you would’ve showed the end results. I have heat damaged hair and would like to try olaplex to possibly restore some of my hair! Does your daughter have heat damage and if so did olaplex help?
Kejhane Collins yes, she did have heat damage from flat ironing a lot in college, I gave her a stand alone treatment every 6 months for 3 years, of course with instruction on how to care for her hair while waiting on the curls to come back, and most of her natural curl is restored! It works! Just may take a while
Did you hear the part where kids are in college and they experiment on their own hair? She probably was just misusing a flat iron or other heat tools. You can def tell the hair hasn’t been touched by chemicals. Chill. Hence she’s using olaplex
Textured hair no nos....small toothed comb to detangle wet hair and using a pick like a comb. To each his own, but I don't want my hair ripped or damaged by combing with the wrong tools. word to the wise. ..if you sit in a chair and the stylist tries combing your wet hair with a small toothed comb or a pick, get up and leave.
