- After my Classical Music for Rock Fans video I thought I would make Public Service Video. Many of these tracks are an acquired taste.

Seriously, no offense intended.
Current audio equipment list:
Cambridge AXR-100 Receiver 100 WRMS. (“B” stock)
Schiit Bi-Frost 4490 DAC, which has been upgrade with Multi-Bit and Unison USB. (“B” stock)
Schiit Lokius EQ (“B” stock)
Schiit Mani Phono Pre. (“B” stock)
Loxjie D-30 DAC just for DSD decoding
Elac Debut 2.0 F-62 Speakers with minor mods, i.e., I removed the grill over the tweeter and added damping material and “No-Rez” to the cabinet.
Fluance RT-84 turntable. I ditched the Ortofon 2M Blue for the Audio Technica AT540ML. The Ortofon sounded ok but the AT cart is really on another level.
All line level cables are from Worlds Best Cable. I primarily use Mogami 2964 Wire and Amphenol ACPL connectors. I also have a few of the Canare L-4E6S, Star Quad, Audio Interconnect Cables with Amphenol ACPR Gold RCA Connectors. I like them both. I started with Mogami as almost very recording studio and arena size system use that brand.
My speaker wires are from Phoenix Gold. About 35 years ago they used to make/market 10 AWG for 9s cooper speaker cable. It is about ¾” in diameter. I have been using them for that long and love their sound.
Miscellaneous items include a small format PC (Core i5, 8GB of RAM & a 256GB internal storage. I also have a remote controlled line level switcher so I can run all my source components through the Lokius.

Thanks for the ANTI playlist. With this coming out on Friday, I'm shocked that Friday by Rebecca Black wasn't included, too.
I am not familiar with her. I will check her out. Thx John.
@@OldGuyHifi It's proof you don't have to be able to sing if you crank up the auto tune high enough and then cover it up with digital sounds.
That could be the secret to my next career in music. LOL.
Most of Captain Beefheart's catalog, although there are a few chuckles here and there.
Mr. Grey, That is so true. I just went for the really annoying. Thank you.
But ... I have sold Beefheart albums for up to $200, so somebody or three likes them.
> out there
Go figure! One man's trash...
Save the Ears!
How about that opening music? Really annoying.
Check out Hands Records out of Germany. They specialize in the Power Noise genre. If you are not deaf before you will be. Named after a Klinik song they host a multi day festival every year. If you are into it, they are quality but to normies it is intolerable. Ant Zen is the musical noise label. Kiss kiss aha aha - Yoko
Honestly Chris it was hard to listen to those tracks while I was putting it together. I am not sure I was built for Power Noise. I will check out though. Thank you my friend.
LOL I thought this video is about tinnitus. 😂😂
After listening to that playlist you'll wish your tinnitus turned to total hearing loss. I was trying to make a joke. You may be the only person who got it. Thank you so much. I considered doing a Movies for the blind and showing Andy Warhol's 24 hour long "art" movie.
With a lot of respect Ed, I am sorry, I am skipping this one! 😂
Rafael, It was meant as a joke. I get it. It was hard to make. LOL.
@@OldGuyHifithanks Ed. Guess at 71 I miss some jokes! LOL.
@@rafacq It is a collection of the worst music ever. The joke is that if you listen to it, it will impair your hearing or at the least you would wish you couldn't hear.
Hi Ed. Today I had a chance to buy a Harman Kardon AVR135 in good working condition for $80. Loved the nostalgic look, but decided to pass. I think I rather wait, save some money and buy the Cambridge AXR100.
@@rafacq Smart choice my friend. The HK unit comes from the era when they were in decline. They were chasing sales at Circuit City rather than focusing on build quality. I am going to do an HK history video soon and explain all that.
Four sides of Lou Reed’s Metal Machine Music LP was just a bit disappointing … 😒😬😵💫
I was never much of a Lou Reed fan, but I will give it a listen and let you know. Thanks Mark.
I agree. It was not good.
