Fishing, froth, and freaking mayhem…THIS is where the On The Rocks series really gets rolling. The crew set out on a remote island off the coast of Australia to set up base for the next 5 nights. My one big goal for this trip is feel what it means to fish like Morning Tide angler. The sketchy rocks, busting schools of bait, heavy current and most importantly the giant drag screaming GTs. THAT is what I am after. Stay peeled for the goodness coming soon, while we are on Ep.3 the action is just getting started!

It's not easy to fish landbased for GT aye, even hopping from Island to Island in an extremely fishy/tropical zone you still have to put in thousands of casts and there's no guarantee you even land the fish haha! So I really like the honesty of these edits, it gives you guys a look at how much effort goes into one of our missions!
I cannot imagine how exhausting it has to be to just cast and reel all the times you DON'T catch one, which surely doesn't help with your strength for when you hook one! Aside from how strong and ferocious they are once hooked, are they fairly docile fish when they're just out there doing their 'fishy thing'? May be a dumb question, but seeing as I'm from landlocked Canada, I have absolutely no clue!, haha.
@Heather D. with GT it really depends on there mood, one day you might be able to see them but they just wont hit anything, another day and you can see them at your feet and they just smash everything. but with GT it really depends on the current and to a little lesser extent the moon cycle (moon cycle is always underestimated) on weather or not they truly fire up.

Last year I “attempted “ bass fishing and caught a couple few small ones, then winter hit and I started watching fishing videos, you were the first member of the (now known as) googan squad I watched, and your videos got me more and more into bass fishing, and once the lake unfroze up here in Pennsylvania I felt ready and very eager to fish, and already I’m doing better than I was last year fishing. Your a very inspiring person to watch because of all the hard work you put into your videos and fishing, how many road trips have you done so far this year😂.
