I'm amazed about all the people out there willing to work for free. Hey guys! would you like to work for me? Me I can make a lot of money and you,, can... work for,, pleasure I guess. A win-win situation!
lalauma in some Asian cultures peaches are used in cakes (not always actual peaches but usually made of candy) for big occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. When I was in China it was my great grandmothers birthday and we had a peach cake like this one. :)
they prob used formal korean in the korean subtitles but since English doesn't have a formal and polite form they had to use please to convey the message
@Beemanq Yeah, it didn't look like it had much flavoring. Though I'm afraid that if I add more sugar or vanilla to it it would ruin the perfect consistency.
Beemanq theyre usually more bland and not as sweet because east asians tend to put less sugar in their sweets... american cakes taste great, but they’re really sugary and sweet compared to ours.
I used google translate to translate the recipe from the description. I'm excited to make this it looks amazing!!! ^-^ 1. Heat the peach-flavored beverage in the microwave for about 40 seconds, add sugar and mix, then add pangelatin soaked in cold water for at least 10 minutes. 2. Add some pink food coloring, mix, pour into a 12cm mold and harden in the refrigerator. 3. Mix egg yolk, sugar and vanilla extract and pour hot milk little by little. 4. Put in a saucepan, stir on low heat, heat until slightly thickened, add soaked pangelatin, mix and cool. 5. Add (4) to the whipped cream about 60%, add the ground peaches and mix. 6. Put a sponge cake sheet in a 15cm mold, pour a little mousse, harden for 30 minutes in the refrigerator, put jelly on the stiff mousse, leave a little mousse, pour it, and set for 30 minutes in the refrigerator. 7. Add a little bit of pink food coloring to the remaining mousse, mix it, pour it into the mold and harden it for 3 hours in the refrigerator. 8. Remove the mold by slightly melting the outer surface with a steam towel and decorate with peaches.
mina collin hahaha no I messed it up!!! That was on me though. I didn’t know there was a difference between white and normal peaches and I put too much gelatin. Also had problems whipping 😂😂
@@razzle7280 hello! i’m interested in making this cake, but i’m a bit worried to with the instructions being translated and me not being very experienced lol... how long, overall, would you say it took to make this cake?
6 dollars it literally says pink food coloring in the video. The reason she’s using a toothpick it’s probably gel food coloring that comes in a little pot container.
00:31 Fill the beaker with a peach flavored drink. 00:37 Turn on the microwave for about 40 seconds. 00:44 Add sugar and mix well. 00:48 When I put gelatin, it tastes softer and I put a little sugar in it. 00:52 Remove the water from the gelatin that has been in cold water for more than 10 minutes. 00:59 Place gelatin into the peach-flavored drink and melt well. 01:10 I put a little bit of red food color to turn it pink. 01:17 Place a wrap on the underside of the 12cm moose ring, fasten it with a rubber band, and pour in peach flavored drink. 01:22 Please put it in the fridge. 01:25 Just put it in the fridge until you use it. 01:28 Mix sugar and vanilla extract in egg yolk. 01:45 Add hot milk and stir well. 01:55 Pour into the pot. 02:00 Heat the mixture until it is slightly thickened. 02:07 Turn off the heat and squeeze the water from the plate of gelatin that has sitting for 10 minutes in cold water and put it in the pan. 02:33 Stir well to melt the gelatin and let it cool. 02:40 Pour the mixture into the whipped cream, gently whip until fully combined. 03:00 Add peach and mix it. 03:05 I prepared the peaches in advance and they browned. 03:13 Cut the sponge sheet with a 15cm frame. 03:23 Pour a little bit of mousse batter and set it in the fridge for about 30 minutes. 03:31 I added the peach jelly I put in the fridge in the middle of the hardened mousse. 03:40 The peach-flavored drink contains coconut. 03:45 Separate the sides with a knife-like tool. 03:53 Carefully remove the frame. 03:59 Pour enough mousse batter over the jelly to fully cover it. Then, put it into the fridge to harden for some minutes. 04:03 Do not pour everything but leave a little (important!) 04:11 Add some food coloring to the remaining mousse dough. 04:22 Pour the pink mousse on top of the hardened mousse then refrigerate for 3 hours or more. 04:32 It's good to remove big bubbles with a spatula. 04:40 Use a steaming towel to slightly melt the surface and lift the frame up. 04:50 Decorate the cake, and you've reached the end ~!

@@shreya446 what i meant was the type of asmr that doesnt click their nails on things(the beginning was funny), smacking their lips, caressing things that kinda stuff
For anyone interested in making this, I wrote down the steps in English! PEACH GELATIN: First, prepare the gelatin. Place the sheet in cold water and let sit for 10 minutes. Measure out 150g of the peach flavored drink into a heat safe container. Microwave for about 40 seconds. Once warm, add sugar and mix well. Drain the soaked gelatin sheet. Put the gelatin into the peach drink mix and stir until it is completely melted. Using a toothpick, add a tiny amount of red food coloring to turn the gelatin mixture pink. Place parchment paper on a baking tray. On one side of a 12 cm mousse ring, secure plastic wrap with a rubber band so that the side is completely covered with the plastic wrap. Put the mousse ring with plastic wrap side facing down onto the parchment paper lined baking tray. Pour the liquid gelatin mix into the ring. Put it in the refrigerator to cool and set. MOUSSE: Meanwhile, prep the mousse. First, heat the milk and set it aside. Put another 10 g gelatin sheet into cold water and set it aside. In a medium sized bowl, add the egg yolks. Then, whisk sugar and vanilla extract into the yolks until fully combined. Pour the hot milk into the yolk mixture and whisk until it is combined. Pour the liquid mix into a medium sized pot on a stovetop. Heat and cook on med-low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is slightly thickened. Once thickened, squeeze excess water from the gelatin and add it to the pot. Stir until the gelatin is fully melted and incorporated. In a large bowl, pour in the whipping cream. Slowly add the gelatin yolk mixture. Stir everything together until fully combined. Add the peach pulp. Stir again until fully incorporated. ASSEMBLY: Cut the sponge cake with a 15 cm diameter (maybe 5 inches thick?) cake mold. Leave the mold around the cut cake to use as your preparation container. Pour just enough mousse batter into the container to cover the cake at the bottom. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until it is set. Remove the plastic wrapping from the peach flavored gelatin you made earlier. Place the peach gelatin so that it is centered on top of the hardened mousse. Demold the peach gelatin by gently detaching the outside of the gelatin from the mousse ring with a thin spatula or knife. Carefully remove the frame. Pour just enough mousse batter over the gelatin so that it is covered, but (important!) make sure to leave some mousse for the end. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until it is set. Once the previous layer is set, add some pink food coloring to the leftover mousse. Pour the pink mousse onto the top of the cake and remove any bubbles with a spatula or toothpick. Place in the refrigerator and let rest for at least 3 hours. DEMOLDING: When the cake is fully hardened, use a steaming warm towel to warm the metal cake mold so that it melts the cake exterior just enough to allow the mold to be removed from the cake. Gently remove the frame by lifting straight up. Add decorations as you like! Hope this helps!

And the judging stares when you admit, that you wanna ram a fork into them and slice them apart because you can't help yourself and everything is their fault because these cuties looked so soft and sweet... It was their fault!!
I made this for my mum a few weeks ago, and my mom almost cried! Thank you so much for bringing a family together, words aren't enough! 이 조리법을 가져 주셔서 감사합니다! 나는 엄마를 위해 그것을 만들었고, 그녀는 행복에서 울었고, 그런 심장 따뜻함 경험이었다! 단어가 충분하지 않다. 💞 (edit - it's so funny that people are getting triggered for me using korean when they aren't korean themselves but nonetheless knowing nothing about me or my ethnic background came to call me a koreaboo that's humanity for you)
-코 코 펌- 코 코팜 means “Coco Palm” in Korean, and the peach on the front means it’s obviously peach flavoured. The full name is “Haitai Coco Palm Peach” for anyone that wants the specific name. I also know it can be found at H-Mart!^^
I made this to share with my parents! We don't have any peach soft drinks readily available where I live, so we used peach tea instead. Turned out very refreshing!
Till now I've only found pictures as aesthetic..but now this video..is a grand feast to both my ears and eyes... aesthetics overload...the pastel colours are what I'm living for...
Your cakes always look so sophisticated! Love how its pretty in a clean way, and not those overly decorated cakes with lots of cream, chocolate, etc. thanks for sharing!
Wow... just wow! This was done with absolute PERFECTION. Seriously, perfect! The layers are very pretty and super consistent all the way through. I dono how they made this so damn perfect! You are an artist my friend!
This is so random, but I work in a lab and one of my jobs is to make gels (for our DNA samples to run through). The beginning of this video totally reminds me of making the gels, even with the red food coloring being the ethidium bromide I add (which helps binding the DNA). Had to share. Back to food.
If this cake were a person she’d give the most backhanded compliments. “Omg that shirt is sooooo cute my sister used to wear one like it in middle school” “Wow you got a B on this test? I got a 100 and I finished in 6 minutes but I can help you next time”
Afternoon Fika Well I feel it more like eating a slice in a cold winter day. Sitting on a comfy sofa with socks on the feet, warms pyjamas, a jumper on, a thick scarf around your neck, with a wool cap on the head, in front of bonfire; beside someone important for you... Your mom, dad, both, a friend, a boyfriend or girlfriend, a husband or a wife...
This video was just adorable, the way the cake turned out was so pretty and gorgeous, cute, and very appetizing. I can't think of a better way to describe it.
Would using real peach juice instead of a peach flavoured drink affect the centre layer? With peaches coming into season soon, this might be fun to try.
Nope, the center layer is basically a layer of jello, and so using a juice rather than a drink would not affect the texture, just make sure to strain it from pulp
I feel like most of the time, you're kinda forced to choose between something beautiful or something that tastes amazing. It seems like when the recipe is focused more on the visual aspect, the actual taste is pretty much ignored or treated as secondary but everything I've seen you make so far looks absolutely stunning and seems like it would taste just as good as it looks! Keep up the good work and keep making these videos please! They really help calm my anxiety, especially when I'm having a hard time battling insomnia and co appreciate anything that helps with that. 💜💜💜💜

For anyone interested in making this, I wrote down the steps in English!
PEACH GELATIN:
First, prepare the gelatin.
MOUSSE:
Meanwhile, prep the mousse.
ASSEMBLY:
Cut the sponge cake with a 15 cm diameter (maybe 5 inches thick?) cake mold.
DEMOLDING:
When the cake is fully hardened, use a steaming warm towel to warm the metal cake mold so that it melts the cake exterior just enough to allow the mold to be removed from the cake.
Gently remove the frame by lifting straight up.
Add decorations as you like!
Hope this helps!
Thnx :)

(edit - it's so funny that people are getting triggered for me using korean when they aren't korean themselves but nonetheless knowing nothing about me or my ethnic background came to call me a koreaboo that's humanity for you)
😊👍🏻
Did you use the exact peach drink brand she used or did you use something else? If you did, did it still taste good?
Anashta617 You can use any but as long as it is peach flavour
Lyna 134340
You’re on a Korean channel, damn hypocrite
Lyna 134340 ...didn’t realize it was a crime for Koreans to speak their language or even type out a word in korean but ok..???
-코 코 펌- 코 코팜 means “Coco Palm” in Korean, and the peach on the front means it’s obviously peach flavoured. The full name is “Haitai Coco Palm Peach” for anyone that wants the specific name. I also know it can be found at H-Mart!^^

This is so random, but I work in a lab and one of my jobs is to make gels (for our DNA samples to run through). The beginning of this video totally reminds me of making the gels, even with the red food coloring being the ethidium bromide I add (which helps binding the DNA). Had to share. Back to food.
Lol nice

Well I feel it more like eating a slice in a cold winter day.

Anyone know where I can order some “Peach Flavored Drink”?
I think I'll buy one in the Asia market idk if you have one nearly
If you have any Korean grocery stores near you, there is a popular brand called 2% and has a picture of a peach on it!

Would using real peach juice instead of a peach flavoured drink affect the centre layer? With peaches coming into season soon, this might be fun to try.
Nope, the center layer is basically a layer of jello, and so using a juice rather than a drink would not affect the texture, just make sure to strain it from pulp
