This works well if you hunt in warm weather and have a 36" inseam. I hunt in cold temps with multiple layers and will never be able to lift me leg and high as your spacing. Now if it was 12" between sticks I could do that...
Awesome great video on how it's done safely , question , what kind of back pack was that and was the loops custom for the sticks to fit . Sorry if it's a stupid question. New to all this . Would love to see a narrated instructional video on process and equipment used . Again sorry if these questions are novice but again very new to this but want to learn the right way . Does anyone have any suggestion on material or videos to watch . Thank I advance . 🇺🇸
+Timmy Rafferty It's an Alice pack & I made the loops. This is an older video & I've since changed/improved my setup. I developed Stick Talons as a means for packing & transporting sticks up a tree. Check out a review of them here - ua-cam.com/video/LYZYQKWFnk8/v-deo.html
Thank you for posting this. I know it’s a few years old but gives me a new hunter an idea of how to use hunting sticks.
20' to the bottom of the platform. This setup 3 sticks & strap off the bottom stick is good for 18'-20' heights depending on spacing.
cbigbear1 thanks for sharing .......amazing!
What is the stand you're using?
That was fast! Great video. Think i need to go this route, seems safer and faster than what i was planning on doing
Thanks for posting a complete setup video. Been looking for hours.

Exactly what I was going to say

what brand of tree stand are u using man?....looks so light!....mine is heavier than my mother in law...
I bounced over here from Archery Talk. My main concern was if the harness had good strong loops for the lineman's belt.
What were you using to hold your sticks to your stand?
The harness doesn't have linemen's loops. I've made my own from 1" climbing spec webbing.
Where/how did you attach the loops to the harness? Thanks!
Thanks for showing a safe way to climb.
Thanks for sharing!
four and change! not even rushing! awesome!
robe1kanobe faster than me and my climber
LIKE A BOSS!!!!!
Thank you
what stand are you using?
+Gram Moore looks like an old loc on limit. They don't make them any longer. Too bad - they were VERY light weight.
Yeah i think i actually have one in my garage to be honest.
It's a second generation Loc-on Limit.
I wonder if anybody has know someone who's slipped and fell down the tree gutting themselves?
More hunters fall from climbing up on their stand than those who step down. Won't happen to you, right..
