I see a lot of people try and say this is a continuation of How does it feel, but I have to strongly disgree. If anything this is a continuation of numb yourself. Theyre like two sides to the same coin. Numb yourself ruthlessly takes everything away from you for wanting to get rid of the sadness, leaving you as this hollow shell. As you please shows that hollowness, he's asking for anyone to come to him and give him something. Make him feel loved, full, anythong but that dreadful numbness. He doesnt care what it is, he just wants something.

I was the same, Citizen is one of my favorite bands and the first few times I listened to this I was like umm ok i guess but it's really grown on me and now its one of my favorite Citizen songs
