    The timing of this video is crazy! I was just thinking about buying a power station for my iLoud Micro monitors so I can be with the goats and dogs like you … lol. Nice to know these tech companies are listening! My rule is producing with a midi controller. Sometimes I’m in a tight space that won’t let me take a lot of equipment and I hate drawing in my notes on the midi editor. I recently realized how I limit myself from producing in certain situations.

    All gear makers need to design & release zero latency wireless gear (monitors, headphones, keyboards, guitars, drum pads small like offgrid by birdkids &/or bigger with notable analog circuitry like MPC 3000) features like mpe, large touch screen displays, latest midi, sliders, standalone &/or works seamlessly with Kontakt.

    Great video, not only in the messaging but also the production. With Beatober just around the corner, I'm sure a lot of us would love to hear more about how you film/edit a video like this. The speakers are portable, but your whole video production setup must have been too. I'd love to see some content about 'behind the scenes" production and filming notes.
    There a lot of little things that aspiring content creators like myself can pick up, such as how you used a montage in the beginning with quick zoomed in frames to suggest a frantic and formulaic writing process. All this build a 'story' and not just a "hey, these speakers are portable... pretty cool right?" video.

    • @Taetro
      @Taetro  10 місяців тому +1

      I appreciate that! I travel pretty light in terms of gear...I really enjoy documenting my experiences. There is for sure a lot of planning and a bit of scripting involved for something like the intro sequence.
      I tend to storyboard my ideas ahead of a trip like this, so I know what I want to cover, but then I also let the environment (and goats) guide me.
      Thank you for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed!

    For me, the rule of music production I set for myself is that music should be created from a laptop, I don't have one so that's easily broken, but I just use my phone to make great music, also the camera work, pretty amazing👍✨

    I always (and have always) struggled with patience in producing and creating music. I unrealistically expect a finished product the first time through. Especially when I am creating by myself. I have a feeling I'm not alone. I have the MPK mini+ and an Alesis Strike Pro SE and many other MIDI controllers. I love creating music, but I find myself getting frustrated after a few moments and walking away. I'm working on writing for the trash can. That is, create a song, a pattern, or a vignette and then throw it away. It might be good; it might be cheesy or junk. Throw it away. The act of going through the motions can help get the juices flowing. It's a slow process I'm it's getting better.

    Soundscape Goats! ❤ do you mean breaking? there is only the only rule - play when it hits you! 90% of my tracks conceived or made on iPhone. No controllers. May be OP-Z. Though Korg Gadget is always in the pocket. Some time my tracks get some extra sounds from 4 overly expensive analog synths 😂 Guitar directly connects to the phone too. Nowadays with any of many mobile interfaces under $100. No laptop needed as well. And yes, I also discovered playing guitar with Caribbean pipe flute is phunn. You don’t even need to hit the strings you know. Why limit yourselves? 😅
    Great track and inspirational vid, Taetro! I was always enjoying your channel for that exactly hybrid mobile/studio approach. Cheers!

    Your chill sequencer app moment is reminding me of a Buddha board... like just making something in the moment and then it's gone. Very cathartic and freeing.
