If thin man was actually smart, he would have just not tried to turn six into a monster, six doesn’t get turned, mono doesn’t become thin man, thin man will probably fade into mono’s body, then mono and six use there powers to kill all the monsters and save the world
Ok picture this first my dude. Mono is betrayed by Six, who he thought was her friend after all they been through. Turns out she’s a monster who left Mono to die all alone. What’s the best way to convince yourself that their friend is a cruel monster ? Yup... turning them into one

I don’t think people realize that Six can clearly see Mono’s face meaning she would know that he would become the thin man. Six decided to drop him to eliminate the threat. It obviously didn’t work out though seeing as the loop has started yet again.

@@nguyenmaianhdo2493 Mono takes off his hat when he fights the Thin Man, so canonically when he saves Six that's the first time she can see his face. When she catches him after the jump you can see her hesitate and study your face, before dropping you
I think we will play as Six again in the next game (if the devs decide to make it) and in that game we will try to break the loop. If this is true then i hope we can save the runaway kid as well..
Theres such a huge age gap between them though, theres no way she'd be able to conclude that they were the same person just based on APPEARANCE. If it just had to do with Mono and the Thin Man's similar powers, then I'd totally get that. But I really think yall are giving Six too much emotional credit here lol.
She likely dropped him for more personal reasons, having to do with her own nature and Mono destroying her musicbox.
@@Rolling_Girl_falling_forever yeah but the music box was a huge ass music box. if you’re talking about when she was all distorted and stuff. but if you’re talking about that tiny music box she had then I don’t remember Mono breaking it. even so, he had to break it or else Six would be stuck in there. and even if she was hungry, she could’ve just let Mono run off to who knows where instead of dropping him and giving him eternal damnation.

The longer mono stays in there the more his abilities grows... That's why he was able to control the TVs and beat the Thin man warp the town he can control the signal tower! that's why fleshy monsters dissapear when he focuses and sits down..... as he gets older he starts to recreate the signal tower and a way out through the TVs like as soon as he reaches the last stage as the thin man he created the hallway out ....he becomes the child that bust through the TV and on quest to break the loop six created each time

can somebody explain the whole story to me lol
Six escapes from the maw and into the city. There’s a building called the signal tower that prevents her from using her powers and is also harming her in some way? So mono went with her to the tower to shut it off, but a lot of things happened and they ended up destroying the entire building. Six dropped mono off a cliff in the end and escaped by herself while mono becomes the new thin man.

@@arashamiri8930 The title is actually wrong. Mono didn't become the Thin man. He IS the Thin man since the beginning. All the version of him and all the hat, that was to remain him why he was here, not to make the same mistake. But he did it anyway, he trusted Six.
alright it's a time loop .at the end when six dropped Mono there was like television portal thing.Six absorbed some of Mono's powers i think and dropped him and went through the portal thing. Mono then became thin tall boy and wanted to sort of warn his past self and get rid of six. When mono went up against tall boy he won bc six absorbed tall boy powers well some of it . Also i think six is hungry bc of she can't handle Mono's power as seen in the true ending.this is my opinion
Six cared about mono, if the hunter kills you she ignores you and keep running, but if in the last sequence with the gigant fleshy thing you die she stops for a few seconds to look at you worried.
Also if she wanted you dead why grabbing your hand in the 1st place and not just running to the TV?
I think the dark side of six took control of her after she grabs you, as you can see she drops you and looks in another direction the next second, and in the secret ending she haves a strange posture with the arm crossed.
So i think six was being controled by her dark self after that.
I just want to see mono/the thin man again if they make little nightmares 3 because this ending sucks, is like if you did absolutely nothing and six story continues like if mono never existed, i hope the thin man comes back in the future, or it will be a big waste of potential.

But mono didn't do that with the time he has spent in that chamber he must have thought of this but this method would make him a monster himself after all the things he's been put through heck he became a real monster he somehow still retained his humanity and six what caused six to become a monster a betrayel by a friend which was just the friend dying but to her it was betrayel and let's e honest when she had to eat the lady I doubt she thought of her as anything but a monster let's be real six is shockingly 5 or 6 in age I doubt she has seen a real adult ever that's not a monster after she got to the age where she can develop permanent memories

I once read someone mention that Mono would have perfectly capable of escaping by the time he was about a young adult but by that point he was either too depressed or consumed by rage
Bro exactly because mono is powerful and brought the tower to him and he could’ve gotten out and kill six for betraying him but look at him… he went through so much and did everything to save six just to get completely humiliated… and that’s why he didn’t bothered on trying to get out of the tower. Some people say that six let go of him because she was getting so hungry and probably loved mono so much that she didn’t want to devour him and she lets him go
Anyone notice how the colors around mono change?
This possibly resembles mono’s innocence considering the fact that he’s just a child going through all of this in this hellish world of little nightmares. But as he grows older, those wonderful bright colours begins to grow more and more dull.
And by the time he becomes the thin man, the colours around him are dull and a pale greyish color, as he has lost all hope a long time ago, and will undergo a patient waiting game, and start this loop all over again.
To me it’s his emotions. In the early stages he still has emotions and had hope that someday someone would save him. As time goes on he becomes more mentally dead until he is the thin man. He just sits stares doesn’t move and you can tell all this man wants is vengeance for what happened to him. He’s lost everything that would resemble morals

I thought about that while he was sitting there for so long. But it's a loop. He tries to save his younger self from being betrayed by Six but he'll always fail, lose to his younger self, get betrayed.
He gave up on life as the Thin man but still never gave up trying to save himself

Now I’m just gonna go watch all six’s deaths in the first gameplay, especially ones in which she was devoured by the guests or fell from a height in honor of the runaway kid and Mono. It won’t come true but at least it’ll still offer me some comfort.
Sometimes I imagine if when six dropped him he just pulled her down with his strange static ability right before he actually fell (like during the slow motion part) and then when they both fall he's just like *'EXPLAIN YOSELF BIH*

Omg ! Shocked to see someone mention this game ! One of my favorite.
It's a sequel and a prequel at the same time basically taking into consideration the time loop theory. The thin man exists in LN1 with the transmission, and his form is viewed in the TV at the end of the DLC, which means that the events which led mono becoming The thin man must've already happened once before.

I think Six was actually trying to save Mono or at least she didnt want to kill him herself. If she didnt let go of him at the end she was going to eat him because of her hunger (her belly growls in the secret ending). So she probably cared for him too much that she didnt want to end up eating him. Im assuming this is a prequel

@@EliteGaming-re8xc Sequel development wise, yes. I believe the game is what is called a pre-sequel. It's when something is officially a sequel but takes place before the original making it more if a prequel. The Godfather Part 2, for example.

It's really sad of what happened to Mono he's been trapped in there for years. If I had a power it would be to save Mono and stop six from dropping him.
Thats been a theory that only pass hours and makes sense because six become giant fast so why he would take years to become this size and after years i think the anger of thin man would n t be as much so i think he would forget this and accept his fate but after hours he only wants to become mono again but he keeps losing and the cicle never ends

@@Majestic7274 my guess is that she didn't know at the time that releasing mono would actually trigger his transformation into the thin man, and instead she just saw that he is the thin man and thus let go of him
I think at that point Six was too traumatised of her time in the tower, plus the fact that it was Mono who had summoned the Thin Man which got her captured. Mono has been constantly letting himself get sucked into the television, in her state of mind she might have just decided that he wasn't trustworthy.
Mono himself also grew up traumatised after the betrayal, not to mention that the tower itself might be screwing with him. Think about it: Mono could feasibly understand that the Thin Man trying to capture Six is exactly what put Mono and Six in that situation where Six would betray him. They're both going to be at the tower, but Thin Man isn't thinking straight because of what happened, and neither is Six.
They are both traumatised children who became dark shadows of their former selves!
I read somewhere that reality is different in the tower. What if whatever Six went through in there whatever she saw is what made her betray Mono and drop him

In my opinion, it is a time loop where thin man goes back in time to try and warn his younger self about six's betrayal but he always fails to do so. The end scene where he became thin man and the door closes and goes back the corridor in reverse to the distance mono first started with the corridor is a pretty plausible explanation that its a loop for me. Why did he failed to fight against his younger self despite knowing the outcome? He was weaker as thin man than his younger self because it seems the tower was using his powers to control pale city, thus younger mono won the fight against thin man.
Also why did six betray mono? There's a few explanation about it, but one of the most popular theory is that when six was kidnapped, she saw the thin man's face up close and personal, and when she saw mono's face without his hat (or just, saw his face) she recognize that mono was young thin man and dropped him thinking it would kill mono and end the loop, not knowing that she had continued the loop accidentally instead. Although it might seem ridiculous about the whole "mono was not wearing a hat thingy", there is an evidence in which during mono's fight with thin man, he lost his hat (it drifted away in the rain when he fell) and after that, you can't wear hats anymore. The hat option in the menu was gone. So it is possible. That theory, is if the little nightmares 2 was a prequel, not a sequel, to little nightmares 1. There's a lot of theories but, this is what i believe.
my friend was telling my how she thinks six just wanted revenge! because in all the other section she always has a tendency for revenge! in the hunter section, she shot the hunter with you bc he had captured her, in the school she slowly killed one of the porcelain children bc they had jumped her, in the hospital she warmed herself by the fire the doctor was dying in bc he had chased and tried to kill them, and with the mannequins or sentient hands (i can’t remember which it was) she was slowly breaking the fingers on an arm! so when mono broke the music box and hurt her she dropped him as an act of revenge!

I just realized Thin man is the Hanging man. How can I tell? Look at the chair that is the same chair from the 1st game. Also the Hanging man and the thin mans body is the same. So it is confirmed that Mono was here from the start.

So mono managed to try changing the loop that repeating everytime to dont save six but our mono didnt succeed again and again and again
So i think the DLC or little nightmares 3
Will be the version that breaking the loop in the futur vision and free six from her sin that she let mono entering the loop and stuck in the same scenario
I think mono is sending another mono and another mono and another mono to free the original one but the same thing happen mono grow up to be thr thin man
And six grow up to be the lady
If mono dont free six from the room that she was stuck inside it

And no maw
