Can you use use SLOBS like normal and have Restream send it out live to something like Facebook or UA-cam? Seeing how even with OBS our scenes and audio levels are set.
yep, the problem is we can tell is a "seller-speech", he have the format for years :S, i mean, - looks good, but i bet 95% of us will still use OBS still.
So I use restream IO THROUGH obs, but lately it's been seeming to give me really weird lag issues and cause my bitrate to randomly tank and my stream to freeze. I want to stream to youtube, facebook and twitch all at the same time for the reach, but not if it ruins my streams. Not sure what to do.
You can’t add overlays on restream alone. I recommend using OBS to add the overlays, and subs stuff and then using restream to stream to the other platforms
Does not hook up to Mevo cameras. Support said it will be a while. Even tho their ads pushed Mevo cameras were compatible. We had to call them out on this 4 weeks ago after we bought a bunch of Mevo cameras and waited a week only to find out that Mevo does not work with Restream.
I mean, theres a plethera of cool features on Restream But of course this would be something that comes with a paid software. if you had a "paid" OBS, or you get Prime on services like Streamlabs and get some of those features.

I just use streamlabs to keep it simple

He should have compared Restream to Streamlabs OBS not just OBS. It would be a much more equal comparison.
