I've had a few monitor arms from Mount-It! Most recently I got one to hold a 42" LG C3 OLED. I'm really impressed with the quality of their gear.
Where did you get that “stupid thing”? I’ve been wondering.
Bought this for my G9. Everything was going great until I decided to reposition the stand, removed the monitor, and it's incredibly awkward CG changes as I lowered it caused it to press against me a bit, shattering the screen. HIGHLY RECOMMEND having a second person help with placing the monitor on this stand or removing it from the stand, especially with a G9.
It still sags. I get it you have to say good things because they sent you a free mount.
mine hasn't sagged at all. make sure you tighten it all the way. I'd be honest if it didn't work lol, I don't make money from sales so I don't care
I don't think it is sagging. I think he has it tilted down a bit
Well mine sags
Thanks for this. I had been looking for an arm compatible with the G9 49" and hadn't found one.
Prismplus offer one
Thanks for the review/video! This arm looks great. I hope they will re-stock soon. I actually want my G9 NEO 49" to be more in front of the table for more immersion in flight and racing sims so I can get really close to the display :)
Thanks! , Can you recommend a Dual G9 49 inch mount? Pls
Hillarous to see somebody nearly using all the same stuff :)
Hi mate. Is there a dual version??
To hold 2
I bought a used odyssey crg9 yesterday. Mint condition and he included a heavy duty monitor arm, and all the original packaging for the monitor. He went through 3 other stands before finding a suitable one for this monitor lol. Only thing I'm worried about is clamping the arm to the back of my desk. Even though the desk is rated to 70kg it's made of 15mm E1 Particle board. Hopefully the clamp screwy thing doesn't crunch into the desk...
i just bought this and the monitor just drops, i cant even adjuat the tension because the nut is too tight when i go both cloackwise and counter clock wise
did you use a power tool>? im mounting it right now and NO it does not hold it up. Im going as tight as i can and even my wife holdinh the monitor becouse im going so hard it moves the monitor. im going to have to return it.
Don´t buy it for a G9 guys, sent it back twice. The front part connected to the VESA tilts down all the time. Avoid this shit at all costs.
just ordered, excited asl
I wonder if you need a certain thickness of desk so the arm doesn't just rips a chunk of wood from the desk just by all the weight been centered in a single point
This i would like to know as i own a ikea lagkapten desktop made out of particle board
I Grommet Mounted, One of Their Triple Monitor Arms, Through My 1/8th Inch MDF Desktop.
The most important part is missing that show how to adjust and fix the monitor not to "pfffff"....
it matches your monitor! so aesthetic 😍
can i get a link for the small bowl thing
Thanks a million for sharing with us the mistakes you made so that others can avoid, this really helped me get my G9 mounted on the MI-4881 quickly and with confidence!
No problem!
how has this mount held up over time im looking for a quality mount, ergotron is very expensive tho.
@@theinsidescoop4513 I'm using it to write this reply to you. Works great never had an issue with it.
that's a lot of wobble
Cool Video, what is the small Box thing for switching things - custom switch?

Does it matter that I used a screwdriver by hand to put the black mount in place? Turned it as tight as I could. As opposed to a drill...? I'm not sure a drill could've put it any deeper, perhaps a molecule extra.
Can you please let me know where you get that piece of VESA adapter for that ball shaped area?
came with the monitor
@@swashin And if we dont have that anymore? xD
Where’d you get the socket or the stupid thing you said, was it with the monitor?
Yes, it came with the monitor
How did you fix the slant the monitor has? Mine is currently like that, and I can't quite get it to be straight.
I spent 99 dollars on a mount from one of our companies here in sweden, that supports 49 inch and handles about 20 kg. I hope that it will support the arm as it is supposed to do
you have a link or name of that arm?
How did it go? I'd love to know the product name if it works :)
Keep in mind, the Samsung monitor may have already come with the VESA attachment so you might already have one.
yeah, it's the one I used in the video! I just didn't have it in my new house
Out of stock 😢
@swashin I can see that the monitor is tilt downwards, just as mine, were you able to fix it? Cause like this, it looks really really bad.
That’s a big boy
Are the inculded vesa screws thesame as the 4 screws for the arm? Im trying to see if I can use them because I cant find my vesa screws
Did that circular connector that screws into the monitor come with the mount or did you have to buy it separately? (the part you had to wait for 40+ years)
The monitor is angled perfectly. The angle /. So the arm cant even support the weight, great.
nah, it's definitely perfectly straight. I even moved and had to set it up again, it's not leaning forward one bit lol
@@swashin how long did you have the arm ? I want to buy one but none of the arm i saw was capable of handeling the weight of the g9 OLED
Shame they don't ship to Europe
LogiLink BP0162 in Europe
If you wanted to run dual G9's, would a second mount well above the other?
Hello i have a question i havd bought a samsung odyssey ark 55 inch it says on samsung members website that it can be mount on a vesa 200 x 200mm mount but i dont wanna wall mount but put it on a floor stand mount when i asked the retailer i bought it from they say you cant wall mount or stand mount you got any idea or anyone got idea if it really is possible as said on samsung members any how or which stand floor mount can it be put on
the fucking "ring" adapter's scre holes of my g9 dont line up, every single time i have something from samsung somethin's broken or wrong its so frustrating
Can you drop the wallpaper? :)
Great video, been looking for exact info! Thanks. Btw I have the same desk, how is holding with the monitor? It’s not too heavy for it?
I've moved twice and it goes back on super easy. Hasn't sagged one bit.
What kind of desk is that?
thanks
Thank you, I needed this info
Did it push the monitor back any or does it still sit around the same depth?
You have to play with the arm to get it where you'd like. I have some space between my desk and the wall so I pushed mine even further back. But you can get it pretty close to how it is on the stand.
I am nervous to lay my 38" curved monitor down, is it safe?
I had zero issues with it and mine is 49". Just put something soft under it like a blanket. Or even a pillow for each part to rest on.
🎉🎉🎉🎉
Just what i needed wish me luck 😂
Nice. I wish they made a wall mounted arm for the G9 Neo. I only see the desk mounted option.
They do, I just saw them on Amazon.
Please clarify if this was the 57" monitor.
It is 49".
The mount is called 49 max but the screen is 57
Chunky boi monitor fr
$250 bucks with all
This layoffs for a stand
Dude, it looks the same?
huh? are you blind?
Do you know that this product has horrible reviews on Amazon and the company has a F rating from BBB@@swashin
Outside the bowl/adapter that came with the monitor, does this require any screws that would have come with the monitor? or are all the screws included?
There are four screws in the G9 box that are easy to lose/misplace, which are used for the VESA adapter. Someday I'll find out exactly what type of screws they are (pitch/diameter/length) so I can try to mount my G9 on an arm like this.
@@PRS-0317 The screws that hold the regular stand on will hold the VESA adapter.
