“I don’t take anything” - proceeds to list a million things haha. Jokes aside great clip, love these screen wall episodes!
Summary: Ashwaganda, gasoline, laundry detergent, & aunt Betty’s maple syrup.
rhino horn, good French reds and Colombian whites
Only works as a suppository though…
I'll get right on it.
😂
It's the Laundry pods not the laundry detergent. Correct it please.
L-Theanine 200mg is super effective. I get a lot done while using it. Pairing it with caffeine helps a lot too.
It is frustrating that doctors are prescribing substances to themselves for the sake of convenience or optimization, but the burden of proof for a non-professional is significantly higher (i.e. need a clinical diagnosis).
good point. like they get a little bit of a head-up than the plebeian class
You can get a private script too if you pay enough 😂
A 7mg pouch sounds like a lot for someone who doesn't consume nicotine.

It is. He's just built different.
@@6lav you mean he's just bullshiting...
His brain is different man, def on the spectrum
😮
One ironic thing about modafinil, is that in many regions it is classed as a narcotic, same group as amphetamines and cocaine, even though modafinil according to research displays little in the ways of risks for addiction and/or abuse potential, so it isn't popular among people who abuse stimulants, meanwhile it is rather popular among students and shift workers as it work to activate the brains wakefulness. The reason it is classed as a narcotic is likely due to it having an effect on your mind, and we can't have the common folks taking non-addictive medication that wake them up - they might wake up to see us effin' them in the rear!. heh, ahem, no but in reality, modafinil shouldn't be included in the narcotics class, rather just prescription only class.
I manage a very complicated production department with lots of very abstract jobs that can involve a wide range of machines such as a CNC cutter/router. When I am stumped on how to move forward with a job I will go outside and smoke a cig. More often than not I think of a solution.
Nicotine absolutely works and employers undervalue the smoke break. The owner(my only boss) told me I can smoke as much as I want as long as my department keeps up with production. He sees the value of it.
I strongly suspect it's not the cig that's getting you to the solution, it's the break you're taking while smoking. I'm a software developer (software architect, actually). By definition, my profession requires extremely abstract problems and solutions. When I get a task, the first think I do is try to understand the problem to the point where I can visualize a solution. If the problem is sufficiently obtuse, I take a moderately long walk. About 2/3 of the way through the walk, a vision of the solution comes to me.
@@thomaschichester3020 Nope. I tried just breaks when I quit smoking. It is nowhere near the same.
@@HarryBalzakI do the break since I quit smoking and it works really good with me.
Yeah it’s clearly not the cig. The part of your brain that creates the stress and the fogginess is highly active. When you step outside it becomes inactive and your other part (solution-solving) becomes active again since it has room to function.
Great for your brain, not so great for your gums, teeth, lungs, etc.
I love when the camera is on guest's and you just get hit with Chris's "ha ha"
Doses of 3mg of Melatonin give me the most VIVID nightmares. I never have nightmares when I don't take it.
You got some demons in your life 😂
Try Valerian. It's natural and its efficacy depends on the person, due to where it grew historically, some people are more predisposed to its effects.
As someone who was forced into heavy sleeping supplements due to extreme tinnitus. I have cried myself awake multiple times using melatonine. But there was no way to properly acquire a sleep schedule without supplements.
I feel the same about coffee. The caffeine is nice, but I just like the taste and ritual
This interview and Peter's advice here on this subject has made me realize how un novel he is as a recognized physician worldwide.
Pushups every few hours, covfefe twice a day, heavy and light lifting, tons of cardio, 8 Hours of sleep daily, lose the fat and have muscles, Eat Decent! Probably all you really need to have very good mental abilities!
yup! that's sums it up perfectly. I haven't been exercising for the past few days and I feel low, but when I do, I always feel great and positive.
@user-hv7ud5gi8l Eat some fresh fruit for lunch and dinner, too. Found that most people are tried because they have low sugar levels. 1 orange with lunch and an apple or whatever with dinner
@@henri6595 alright will do so. thanks a lot.
Exactly, the power of work outing and dieting is unmatched.
I’m glad he mentions modafinil an impossible substance to get from any doctor
My naturopath cautioned me regarding supplementing with melatonin. He said long term use, particularly at higher doses, can produce neurological symptoms.
But apparently there's smaller studies that show supplementing with melatonin long term, can slow down or even reverse bone loss.
Seems like melatonin increases new bone growth. 🤔
Maybe add beta-alanine to the mix?
”Two studies investigating the benefits of β-alanine supplementation on the tactical performance of soldiers found it to be effective in maintaining lower body power and psychomotor performance, with cognitive function improvements also observed.”
ive been smoking a little pipe tobacco lately for fun, and I have to admit, i have not felt ANY addiction to it. so weird too bc i get addicted to everything i enjoy, and i enjoy the tobacco, but i dont ever crave it. so weird! not at all expected, i assumed i would have to stop for my health lol!
they say only 44% of nicotine users are hopelessly addicted to it
the rest can take it or leave it if they have a good enough reason to stop
Great clip from the original episode!
Please comment on AG1 lead content, I like the product and I'm interested in getting your nutropic can you comment on AG1 situation
I use 2mg nicotine gum if I feel particularly burned out during heavy gym session.
I always thought 3 mg of melatonin was small growing up
I got a supplement that has the same ingredients as your drink. It's the only nootropic I've ever tried that's actually effective without it feeling like I just took meth.
I took Trazadone in the late 90s/early 2000s as a teen/early 20s. fairly large guy who is generally not effected like most people by meds like pain meds, muscle relaxers, etc.that being said, believe me, Trazadone will knock you the f out. like, in a hurry, unless you're taking a really really tiny dose, it's gonna be lights out fast.
Can anyone identify Peter's watch? Looks stunning.
It looks like rolex cosmograph daytona. What means dude makes preety good living.
I highly suggest raw honey as a replacement for sugar. Sleep & concentration have dramatically improved & I have lost 18 pounds in just over three months ✌️♥️💯
Did you lost 18 pounds with eating raw honey?
@@talhakadi7673 I cut out all foods containing added sugars and switched to raw honey ✌️♥️💯
Honey also is a natural source of Phenylalanine... Which is an important amino acid that will help regulate blood sugar😊
Isn't all that caffeine bad for the ticker?
Dr Russell Reiter is the most published human being on melatonin. I think he would wholeheartedly disagree with Peter around melatonin and physiological dependency..
Theanine
Phosphatidylserine.
100mg of PS is like getting 30 extra IQ points.
I know someone who takes it 3x/d. I can only handle 1x, min 6h before bed or no sleep.
GABA also helps and has been linked to why younger people learn faster.
It can also ruin sleep in my exp.
Tyrosine can be motivating, but you can build up a tolerance quickly.
Good ole' Fish Oil is no slouch either.
Why is 3 mg of melatonin a lot?
lol : "how do you get to sleep"
"Oh i just adjust when i wake up and workout. I also take zrasidone, melitonine, surfluxain, theroiphinol, frluocarvine, grufussin, . . . . . . "
The tittle is pretty misleading
How about putting links to the for substances for god sakes
What links? Nicotine and melatonin are available everywhere and modafinil/modalert is a prescription drug you can not just buy it. He can become he's md and he just prescribe it himself...
Most compounds have a hump where low doses and high doses do the opposite...That's really common, not unusual at all.
Could you share some examples for those who, like me, are ignorant?
Honestly, I work in the medical field and also have a degree in both medicine and psychology; also, particularly fit and athletic. There's nothing damaging or surprising about him taking caffeine, nicotine, melatonin, and trazodone - especially if in moderation. This is the basics of highly motivated/competitive individuals. Moreover, he probably left out the use of amphetamines..😂 If all of the above are used in moderation, there's nothing clinically damaging.
vitamin c
That's crazy. Nicotine? Trazadone? No thank you. But he is a doctor and many of them truly practice "medicine" rather than "health".
Look up gwerns writing on nicotine. Using it as a nootropic is not as crazy as you think.
@@pbkobold After too many years addicted to caffeine, I avoid every addictive substance I know of. So there's no way I would voluntarily put nicotine in my body even for a nootropic effect. I'd use centrophenoxine and/or noopept before nicotine.
Some people may use small amounts of nicotine on rare occasions and be fine. Others will try it once and spend years taking it. For me, it's just not worth it.
nicotine gum gave me headaches
Literally everything dude suggests the hosts is like "nah"😂
I'd never touch nicotine in any form, kinda surprised that Peter is taking that drug.
Agree. I had the same reaction. Quite surprised.
The best supplement to increase mental performance is to improve your sleep
Nicotine and trazadone?! Absolutely insane 🤯
They don’t even make 7mg zyn
Nice coffee ☕️
Dr. Broski sounds like a gym dealer 🤣
I don’t take anything except these 57 different supplements
Shilajit:Haha, AMATEURS!"
Cold brew, zynachino, trt & tren. trust me bro
This IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE…… but damn its a convincing argument
Best advice out there
This is funny because Tren is so neurotoxic it can cause mental retardation.
TRT and Tren sound good!
Get jacked!
@@themacocko6311 ahahaha I'm joking man, I'd only take trt maybe when im in my 40s. It was a sarcastic comment
Bro is casually talking about coollip as nicotine pouches 🤣
Nicotine is very relaxing.
Peter Attia always seemed to be a bullshitter to me. Idk why, he never says anything compelling, ever.
Peter’s upspeak habit has become insufferable. Why, Peter?
1 Viagra
2 Vyvanse
3 Adderall
4 Repeat
Ditch the green background
What the heck... this guy's a drug addict. Caffeine and nicotine in the morning, trazodone(a tranquilizer they use for HORSES) and a negligible amount of melatonin compared to taking a tranquilizer...and yeah, if you're using a horse tranquilizer to sleep, I imagine you'd need the caffeine and modafinil to wake up! 😮
Trazodone is an antidepressant/sleep aid. I was on it for a bit but didn’t care for it. Where are you getting it’s a horse tranquilizer?
how tf u get a sponsership in a god damn clip your taking it too far man, greed knows no bounds
The guy who doesn’t believe in anything
But takes supplements
Regardless if there’s no data in his opinion
Cafeine=cocaine
Jesus Christ, can you not just take food and drink?
Bullshit
