Heat and steam will be sucked away in the towel. Wrapping in a plastic cap, then putting a warm towel over is much better.

This color is for my leave-out with my sew ins but I love the pop of color when I wear my hair natural
YES, i'm loving that frame of color around your face. The fact it helps blend your leave out and still looks amazing on a wash in go is great. Definitely going to try this line for our daughter because her hair is very similar to yours just longer. Glad to see they created this line and brought in a lady that truly knows the needs of your hair type. I'm white and have used them for 2yrs, and I really appreciate the fact they tried to do it right when developing this line. BTW her dad and I installed her faux locks you from your last video of that style. I'm thankful for your channel, and others like it, it makes learning to style and understanding our daughters hair needs much easier. I have stick straight very fine boring hair that refuses to hold a curl and I live my hair life vicariously through our daughter. Bonus has been my hands don't show my age because of all the nourishing products I constantly work into her hair.

I bought the whole line.. I live for the shampoo and intense conditioner. As for the new products, the leave in and the gelee are my favs! I use the styling butter to refresh my twist. I am so glad they have new products for highly textured hair.. Yah

My hair is natural 4- type and I received a sample of their signature moisture mask once and loved it and bought the reugular size. It's intensely moisturizing. Just bought the mask and primer from this line recently and love, love them. Great brand!

Beautiful! I remember when you were using Oribe on your straightened/flat-ironed hair. I love how you have evolved with the line, or the line has evolved with you :-) That shows that it is a versatile line.
Also, may I suggest a hooded dryer instead of a diffuser for even better results? My stylist put me on to a hooded dryer after my “at home” wash n go’s weren’t looking or feeling like they do at the salon. My diffuser was giving my type 4 hair frizzier results at the roots and 2 day hair. I now get more days out of my wash n go and more compliments after using a hooded dryer immediately after applying styler.
I have -2% patience for my hooded dryer 😭 but I’ll give it a try! Thanks for the tip

Your hair looks really nice. I have similar texture as yours. After applying the gel, I usually twist my hair (6 twists; 3 on each side due to the shape of my head). I then use scrunchies to wrap each twists. I usually used 3 scrunchies on each twist. And then, I use some Bobby pins to bring all of them back into a pony tail. I let it dry like that (80% dry). Once it reaches this level of dryness, I use a blow dryer on the roots to make sure they are 100% dry, and Then, I also pull on my twist while drying each of them with the blow dryer. This technique gives me great elongation on first day hair. I don’t usually leave my hair free for a long time, I just do it when I have to go to a dinner or parties.
By the way, how do you deal with dryness after a wash and go?
