Nice question, I'm looking for a procedure to connection wire using TTL cable from PLC to computer. Last month burn an adapter convert trying to connect the USB cable to FX PLC.

Hello! Great channel! Can you turn an output on via RS232 command? For example, can the PLC monitor the rs232 port for a command like ////OUT11//? Doesn’t have to be that exact rs232 command, I can change my CNC code to DPRINT whatever it needs to be

to be honest I am not sure. I do know however that if you connect a text display via rs232 you can use buttons on the text display to act as inputs to turn on/off outputs.

id like to know why if i press the button connected to x1, y1 and y2 activate , the code i created only activates the output(y0-y7) when the input (x0-x7) detect the button has been pressed. thanks
