I think that this works well. As you learn and practice, you can only get better. Plus when you look at something again with fresh eyes it’s amazing what you can see without the original frustration. Great work!
I lost your channel for awhile and when I found you again I realized I wasn’t even subscribed. First thing I did was fix that and I’m glad I’ve finally caught back up on your videos. You’re one of my favorite people to watch and I love how you always stay positive. Thank you so much for making content!
I absolutely love this! It puts a smile on Sally's face as well ;). If you mix this up with regular purchases from eBay you have a great series going for you. Glad to see that these boards will not end up as landfill after all and also great to see that you are able to fix these now with all the knowledge you have gained. Another great video!
Revisiting old attempts is a great idea as your knowledge and experience have grown so much over the last year or so, what may have seemed an impossible fix then may be an easy fix now 😀
I finally broke down and bought a beginner soldering kit because of you. I've built gaming PCs and console repair/refurbishment, but I've never learned how to do it. Your videos gave me confidence, though you make it look easy haha.
That’s the reason I never sell or throw away my boards I couldn’t fix (yet!) tou get better and more experienced over time, and learn more about these boards
Hey Joey as I'm sure your able to attest to. The reason your Meter broke is simply because the type of barrel connector is simply cheap, and not very good
It's really nice to see you use older boards, defect stuff and repair things with that.. keep that going. Also, why not replace the screen with a better looking to get 15 extra out of it?
wanted to post a repair i was working on in your xbox-one discord channel this morning but I don't have permission :( dropped it into Phil's and Computer Booters
Can you do a video on all your equipment as I'm trying to get into this but I'm not shore how to start and what to buy thanks mate keep up the fantastic work 👍
100% seeing you work on old attempts was good stuff. If you aren’t going to go back over them, why keep them? I can imagine you making some good consoles out of a larger number of broken ones.
i say yes sell the parts you can't fix instead of them just setting there collecting dust maybe you could help someone fix there devices as well BUUUUUUUUT if you want these parts again you gonna have to buy them again and for sure lose more money ... in my opinion if you have a big inventory like 100 then yes sell them but 10 to 20 i say it doesn't worth it

Great idea! I have always wanted you to go back over your old work.
Love this format! It is always great to revisit your previous work, see how far you've come in your learning journey, and fix some additional things!
More like this! nice to see a once failed repair turn into a working unit
Thanks Phynx :)
I think that this works well. As you learn and practice, you can only get better.

Great work!
Great video, definitely good to revisit old efforts!
Revisits sometimes allow us to see missed things and work it out. Good job!
Thanks Treena! Hope you're well :)
I am going great thanks! Hope you and your family are also well! Also give your kitty a pet for me please! Your orange guy is adorable 🥰
Haha will do! We have a brother and a sister so I’ll pet them twice! :)
Please, more revisiting old consoles, dunno why, but it feels awesome to see that you manage to repair things that used to be considered dead
It’s amazing seeing how your skills have grown in a year or so.

Revisiting old attempts is a great idea as your knowledge and experience have grown so much over the last year or so, what may have seemed an impossible fix then may be an easy fix now 😀
Really like these videos where you go back through your old boards. Please do some more!
This channel is pretty fun. I enjoy every video of you men!
Very much enjoyed watching. helpful in a more in-depth diag. Thanks for all of the knowledge you teach us!
I finally broke down and bought a beginner soldering kit because of you. I've built gaming PCs and console repair/refurbishment, but I've never learned how to do it. Your videos gave me confidence, though you make it look easy haha.
Go for it, keep revisiting! I do with my old stuff, experience can make changes.
I love these kind of videos Joey. Great work.
I think going back is always good. It proves you were either correct, or have progressed in your diagnostic skills.
Loved this one Joey. Would live to see more of these revisits.
Great to see you revist old work. enjoying the content.
Enjoyed seeing you go back to your old work. I'm sure Sally is very happy too!
we do want to see more videos like this, peace Joy, and love from Norway
Really enjoyed this, I always hate to see things get trashed knowing there was still a possibility it could work or be fixed.
Love watching you apply gained knowledge on old "write offs"
I've got a PC graphics card that I can't figure out if you wanted to take a punt at it
Another great episode! Thanks Joey!
Re-visits are really worth it in my opinion.
Cardinal sin, wrapping cords around the meter etc.
Great idea and great vid as always Joey but would love to see this in its own series of maybe revisit loss to profit.
Nice to see you revisit older console that may get fixed now due to more exp
Go ahead and go through your old stuff, great fun! :)
Love this type of video with switches, hope your going to do more with the other switches
Yes, go joey go! Back to the old days😅
Great job, it's always worth a revisit especially after you have gained more experience
That’s the reason I never sell or throw away my boards I couldn’t fix (yet!) tou get better and more experienced over time, and learn more about these boards
Nice work, Joey!!

Loved the video, would definitely love to see more revisit videos!
I would love more of these videos❤
Hey Joey as I'm sure your able to attest to. The reason your Meter broke is simply because the type of barrel connector is simply cheap, and not very good
Would love for you to go back on previously unrepairable consoles !
I like this! I'm curious how much stuff you can fix now that you weren't able to before.
yes more of this
More of this!!
yeah, more pls
I think you gave me some of your luck too, Joey. I've been able to fix 3 PS Ones out of 6 and so far 4 PS2s out 12. Keep those videos coming
LETS GO!
5:47 meme or gif material
love the revisit
It's really nice to see you use older boards, defect stuff and repair things with that.. keep that going. Also, why not replace the screen with a better looking to get 15 extra out of it?
Yes go for second video of revisiting :)
Well done joey ya on a roller 👍🏼👍🏼😎
about time... been waiting all day. hehe
wanted to post a repair i was working on in your xbox-one discord channel this morning but I don't have permission :( dropped it into Phil's and Computer Booters

Can you do a video on all your equipment as I'm trying to get into this but I'm not shore how to start and what to buy thanks mate keep up the fantastic work 👍
I will do eventually Lee, thanks for watching bud :)
Nice Multimerer fix in between aaaand your are on a winning streak right now! So you can now go safely back down to yoir family😂
Nice Joey
I'd love to have that stack of boards to try and fix :D
Its like one of those rerun shows 😂
I bet you can fix a lot more of your boards by now. Of course you could just sell parts of the consoles too
Keep fixing old stuff-I do the same
You can never have enough donor board 😂
My personal experience 😂
100% seeing you work on old attempts was good stuff. If you aren’t going to go back over them, why keep them? I can imagine you making some good consoles out of a larger number of broken ones.
Dude needs to start a new season
Wondering about oxidized pads 19:17 would white vinegar get rid of it like corrosion buildup, or would it ruin the chip?
Yay.
My suggestion is to try 2 new items , 1 old console that you couldn't fix per episode
Revisit videos are fine by me :)
AHH FLUX lmao 🤣
Love it
Ebay hasn't really been that cheap lately, even for parts or repairs. Auctions are full of bots too. Sad times.
Fixing. Faulty. eBay Electronics. For. Profit profit. Or. Loss. S1. Episode 40
Get bench top multi meter. those are built to be abused. I own one, and will never go back to portable one for board diagnostics
Think you have a crack on the board 16:20 top-right of the p13-usb? Have not checked results yet :D love your series!
//guess it was hair or smth :'D
i say yes sell the parts you can't fix instead of them just setting there collecting dust maybe you could help someone fix there devices as well BUUUUUUUUT if you want these parts again you gonna have to buy them again and for sure lose more money ... in my opinion if you have a big inventory like 100 then yes sell them but 10 to 20 i say it doesn't worth it
If they can't be fixed you might as well sell them get some money back
can i somehow buy a switch from you :D
buy your self a fluke you wont have problem
Just bought one 😎😎
