Brings the “LITTLE GIRL” back in me when Dad use to take us to see them years and years ago along with the Blue Angels which I had the personal experience this past week of them flying around the city of Indianapolis! Just amazing pilots! Thank you all for your dedication and service!
@@nevanlovano8085Neither of those is fifth generation, so no. They had their time, but the F-35, and F-15EX have them beat, not to mention the F-22, although it’s a cycle behind the others.
I saw them perform over the Ohio River last year in Owensboro Kentucky. I had an obstructed view to the left, so I had to make an effort to look out that way. At one point I extended my neck to look to the left, and there was a single F-16 coming straight at me, right over the river, full afterburner. Gives me chills just thinking about it. I'm glad these guys are on our side.
Never get bored watching these guys doing the in possibles things.. Very Amazing.. Just Amazing.. I saw the T-Birds perform the first time in California then New York, Wisconsin, and Nevada
This seems to have been filmed on the rarest of rare days at Edwards. The smoke is lingering for a long time which means NO WIND! Anybody that has spent time in the high desert (where Edwards is located) knows it's always, always windy. Beautiful show and fantastic video.
I noticed that too. The smoke just kept hanging around. I see them here on the East coast of Florida in Daytona Beach and Brevard air show and the smoke gets in our sea breeze and is gone pretty fast.
I remember the T-Birds back in the early 70's when I was stationed at Nellis AFB in '72. F-4's 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸 And they were huge comparatively.. 👀 None the less, very excellent work 👍
6:38 I like these type of moves (syncronized aileron aileron maneuvering or the change of formation setup 8:32 , 9:15). They should add more of that to the program. Very appealing for the audience in my opinion.
The F16 is such a beautiful craft. It almost looks like a creature. Love the singsong cadence calls too. Reminds me of my childhood shows with the T38’s in late 70’s-80’s.
😎 Thanks for this Stunning & Awesome vid! Sep 2000, I had the privilege to have the Callsign ‘TBIRD 15’ for my C-130 to bring them back to Nellis. They were Amazing hosts, gave my crew a 2+ hour tour of their entire facility. Next morning, The HERK had a large #15 circled in blue stars?!!!! UNREAL! This aircraft went on to fly several hundred OEF/OIF sorties from 2003-06 with that emblem still intact. 💪🫡
I remember watching the Thunderbirds at Hill AFB flying F-4’s as a child, then transitioning to the T-38’s around ‘73 I think. Man those F-4’s were loud!
Nice footage overall. #6 doing a vertical climb at takeoff starting @3:07 is nice. Just needed the ground for an aspect of how fast and high it was by the end. The diamond and solos all had a nice pass starting @6:50
Wow beautiful videos !! Have seen Thunderbirds many times in person but this truly give a different perspective and showed how incredible skilled these pilots are - the best of the best. Subscribed and will be waiting for more .. Thank you.
@@justinmaguire4987 I would definitely love to believe that, but my guess is that the F-35 would be the most likely successor in my mind, but that's not a great option, IMHO.
From 1980-84 I refueled many aircraft. From C130’s,C141’s, C5’s, Med Evac DC9’s, F104’s,F4’s(all versions), T38’s, Army OV8’s and CH47’s as well as Navy Birds that found themselves dry land. My favorites were the British Vulcan, our own F15’s and 16’s and the kickass A10. I know I missed a few but it was a helluva ride, Who The Hell? POL!
@@TuxWing the 35 could make for an interesting show, considering how it can maneuver. I suspect that’s the one on the list but agreed with the OP, it’ll be a sad day when they retire the F-16 from this. Though, the first time I saw them they were using A-4’s, the Scooters were cool to watch.
How in the world did you get the privilege to shoot from the tower at Edwards AFB of all places? IMO, nothing says more U. S. Air Force than Edwards. And, IMO, the F-16 is probably the best jet fighter design ever made. The Thunderbirds paint scheme in the desert just looks even more amazing. All I can say is wow, and thanks for the video.
I've had the opportunity to see them twice in my home town London, and I live quite close to the airport, and oh boy, they came over my house maybe 500ft. It was crazy.
I first saw the Thunderbirds at Shaw Air Base in 1970 when I was serving as a Security Forces member. They were flying the F-4's at the time. I saw them again at Seymour-Johnson just before I was discharged. I see them every year now when they come to the Daytona 500 and when they do local air shows here in Central Florida. That tail walk maneuver is really a scary one. That is just too close to a stall for me.
Good aftrnoon greetings,,, its time to enyoy,,, take a seat, pop corn and an orange juice,,, thanks of share your video,,, your friend Oscar de Playa del Carmen Q R México,,,
22:00 something appears below the Thunderbirds moving incredibly fast then disappears after a few seconds. Is it a reflection? Seems to fast to be a ground vehicle.
I got the chance to go to their coop in Nevada and have a walk around a F15 in the hanger covered from head to toe with weapons. Got to place my hand on a live bunker buster. It was red flag when me and my bother showed up.
More impressive "IF" these pilots from the USAF Thunderbirds (& USNavy Blue Angels) can show the public flying their planes at high-g turns with FULLY LOADED WINGS !!!!
My doctor when I was a kid was a former F-4 pilot who had the opportunity to transition to the F-16. When I asked why he didn’t, he stated “I don’t want to get in anything that can fly up it’s own ass.”
7:06 oh man! This might be the single coolest low pass I have ever seen ANYWHERE! Nice flippin’ shot buddy!

Without a doubt, the most Majestic Aircraft in the world. Very Proud and Thankful.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I have to agree that the f-16 and f-18 super hornet are the 2 best air crafts in the American military arsenal
F-15 says what up...
Of the three the f16 is overall best looking, with that single intake under the nose always reminding me of an oncoming shark

They came to China in the 80s, felt so proud to be an American! Thanks Air Force!
Their diamond is now as tight as Blue Angles. NICE!
Great tracking on that sneak pass!
Watching the #usaf #thunderbirds never gets old! #america #freedom #godblessamerica 🇺🇸
Going to see them saturday, so stoked
Made my day seeing this POV!

Beautiful filming
I love USAF Thunderbirds
Absolutely amazing performance from these guys!!!! Always amazes me how spectacular they are up there doing what they do best!!!!❤❤❤❤

The F-16 is such a matchlessly beautiful bird to see as Thunderbirds. Yet I will never forget watching them fly F-4’s.
Amazing content, as always! Thank you, ASS!
The FAA should allow one sonic boom per Airshow 😅
seen them at Fairchild AFB a few times and I also saw them at an airshow at the Glacier Park airport in summer 1989.
Should I say absolutely breathtaking!!
Amazing views! We had a great time watching from the ground.
Wow what a wonderful inversion on that particular A/C, excellent job my fellow flyer, God Speed Sir🤟🙏

I wish I could watch an air show from the tower!!! Incredible!!!!!

These guys are so good& their flying is spectacular!!!
Beautiful flying thunderbird pilots.
Awesome !! Spectacular display ❤
Fantastic video, good idea with the angle of camera view, the solo guy low level pass was fantastic, thanks a lot again for the amazing enjoyment!
Great job. Compliments to the camera person. Nicely done. 🇺🇸

Good god that sneak pass 🥵🥵
Wonderful footage! Love the tower vantage point! And 6:04 beautiful and iconic Thunderbirds😍
Yes! Very tight formation with little daylight between wings. Those blazing high speed passes were ripping too!
Awesome show, and I'm looking forward to seeing them at Offutt, next year!

Yeah they will probably give them to Ukraine… our tax dollars arnt enough
Glad you guys always get the precision of the maintenance crews as they launch and catch the aircraft. It’s not all about the aircraft.
That was so precise, i love the high speed solo pulling up into 7 rolls
Great show.
At 6:36 you see why #5's number is painted upside-down. Just a cool detail if you find a high resolution pic of that maneuver.
Damn. I watched them in the F4s. The view angle from the tower WOW
MY favorite air show video
classic Thunderbirds, had a poster of these jets on my wall as a kid.
I love number6 at the beginning that’s just pure power
How in the world do you get tickets for tower seats?? This looks like the absolute BEST way to enjoy an airshow!!
Amazing pilots
Love the vids man, keep up the great work! ❤
Best job ever
Good job.Very beautiful, Fantastic ❤❤❤
Good stuff! Thanks for sharing!!
I just saw the Blue Angels and some F-22s and I think 35s a week ago. When they came by the sound was felt viscerally.

nice view! I was trying to figure out where the XB-70 run pad was.

The infamous ThunderChickens.
We were right on the corner nearest the Tower, Awesome footage but it’s playing back really choppy… Might be the codec…
Am I right in thinking the UK airforce train here ?

Thunderbirds are badd ass they came to Chennault airshow
The F-16 is a sharp plane. Highly maneuverable. A dog fighter
凄い!
I've always liked the Thunderbirds over the Blue Angels, most people only see or speak about the BAs
