'Tori' is from the verb 'toru', which means 'take'. So 'obi-tori' means 'taking the belt', i.e. 'grabbing the belt'. It does not mean 'the belt of tori'. However, 'tori' in the sense of 'uke and tori' does also come from the verb 'toru'. The words 'toru'/'tori' suggest taking action, while 'uke'/'ukeru' suggest passivity. Uke receives the waza passively.
In Italian obitori are the places where dead bodies are stored before they get buried and sent to the graveyard or burnt and turned into ashes. Not kidding.

Nope, you got it all wrong. Obitori-gaeshi is classified as te-waza, not sutemi. Daki-wakare is a yoko-sutemi-waza. And is a very different technique (you pick up opponent from an "on all fours" position).
