I’ve watched this video over and over. I have been making my son’s costumes for years and this year he chose Furcorn from My Singing Monsters and he of course wants the feet to complete the costume. I bought these big crocs-like shoes because the feet have to be big and tried using foam clay for one foot to test it. It’s only kind of flexible and I might need to glue it all down but I was wondering if this “ogre foot” idea with the liquid latex, will work better than the clay did on top of a foam clog shoe. I’d love to know if you have suggestions for me.
That is going to be such a fun costume! I have never tried to work with latex on that type of material. Would recommend cleaning the surface really well with alcohol. I imagine the latex will stick at first. My concern is the edges may start to come up with wear and tear. The fact the shoes it self shouldn't really be flexing you may not have an issue. I would have some strong glue on stand by so you can tack down anywhere they may start to come up.
@@CrisAlexthank you so much for the response!! It means a lot. Most people are quick to offer the finished product for commissions instead of giving me tips I can use. This was helpful.
I am really inspired by your art It's easy to follow please on your next video please teach what type paint or make up to use in air brush how to mix it appreciate if you show that thank you more power
Thank you so much! Majority of my makeups and projects for airbrushing I use Mehron Paradise Paint or Skin Illustrator. This video shows how I take it from the palette to use in the airbrush. Also shows how you can adjust your mixtures ua-cam.com/video/OSGf-NeNWgc/v-deo.html 😁

With the latex.. can I use any liquid latex? I cant find the brand in the video.
Yes! Any liquid latex will work
When you say glue is ur the latex glue ?
When I mention glue I am referring to Prosaide Adhesive not the latex
