I like how a lot of the comments are bad art/chosen design. To be honest there's nothing to update since this is the actual design of the last arcade game (last update of 2009/11?). Since it's a collab Bushi can't really do much to update the art (risk insulting Sega). I actually dig the mechanic of the deck, super filter with unit recycle. I prefer 5 attacks than 4 with 2 VG.
I like how it's the opposite of Mushiking. Instead of textless units it's textless orders. Pretty stunning how they managed to actually adapt the arcade game's flavor into the game. Next year Dinosaur King (20th anniversary), and surely (not copium) 2026 we have a Sonic collab (it's the 35th anniversary)
People really acting like Love and Berry doesnt fit into the theme of vanguard when Bermuda/lyrical decks have already been having this theme since like the beginning of the game lmao
You feel nightrose requires good skill expression by the player to thrive? I feel I haven't seen much of it played lately, or at least topping so I felt that was the case
I don’t know why, but implementing a dress-up and dance game into a combat-based card game like Vanguard doesn’t seem to make sense to me from a thematics perspective.
Well, this game also has various kind of idol/music band; Bermuda Triangle, Lyrical, BangDream and other weird stuff from children comic or red haired quintuplets.
I really hope it doesn't come, the card art is ugly and doesn't even look like a vanguard deck. My thoughts are pretty shallow I suppose in the vanguard community but I just can't respect the deck or any player who thinks it looks good. Bushi could have updated the art for it so it fit the actual game's asthetic.
@ I agree, but Mushaking got to be good at maybe one or two things. L&B just copies some of the better Keter deck abilities to make up for bad art and ends up being broken. Anyone playing it is just a meta chaser, nobody enjoys it for the art lol
Dont like collabs that dont fit theme. Its not weiss. At least do collabs with settings that fit the game like Ragnarok. Mushi King, Quintuplets and this deck is so out of place. Instead of getting collabs, they should focus more on balancing the game and slowing down with D product while giving more prem stuff. Like... history collection got terrible reprints, 90% is pack filler. They could go route of 2 D sets, 1 prem set. That way they get time to playtest stuff and they build up playerbase, because... lets be real, premium is more played than standard. The only thing gatekeeping prem are expensive cards from V era and G.
Wait are you serious about quintuplets? Love and berry has more in theme than quintuplets than vanguard itself especially if your looking at the battle shonen aspect of the show. Also I call bs on fitting in theme. What about the billion other swimsuit variants of non collab cards?
Honestly quintuplets nah as much as I enjoy the show, it doesn't fit into vanguard's setting much either. The art i think is arguably more suited for vanguard than love and berry. The art is just so off-putting to me
