An excellent extended remix by the dutch DJ/ Remixer Peter Slaghuis, the sound quality is not the best because he made transfers and dubbed them back and forth with the audio he took from the extended Disconet remix of the Abba "Lay all your love on me" (made by Disconet Dj Raul) and the track from the album, transfered them to a reel to reel tape recorder, spliced, and edit the sound clips on there (the story goes that he made the final mix on a cassetteplayer with only the use of the pauze button), he obviously overused his compressor/ limiter on the final result to smoothen out the track levels that made it sound a little distorted...(but it worked to my opinion!). Peter used a Boss BF-3 guitar flanger pedal for the facing effect heard at the end ...After 11:01 there is a slight noticable drop-out which is not Peter's fault but is a mastering fault that can be heard on almost or not all releases. I still can not understand that they missed this mastering problem at quality control at Polar Music! This upload fades out a little early, on the (second!!) longer version you can also hear (besides the applause) a brief part of the intro of the next track, The Way Old Friends Do, which has been mixed in at the end of Lay All Your Love On Me, on the Super Trouper album.
Somehow I can't agree with the sound quality, as you point out. This song is mainly about the drums. Here on my JBL-Extreme it sounds clean. I can hear the hi-hat very well. As well as the snare. For me it is a successful remix.
Remember going out in Belgium in the 80's as a Dutchman and hearing this record in the disco It was an absolute floor filler. Searched for it and only found the original Abba remix which wasn't what I wanted. Only discovered that there was also this bootleg mix 2 decades later on You tube ....
Not many know about this record and how side 2 has music on it. The record was a bootleg made many years ago by an uncredited artist that loosely expanded the original song. Side 2 sounds something like Stars On 45 with actual original artists most cases.
Found this ep in a batch of secondhand jazz records I once bought. Discogs doesnt have a price, anybody got a price indication? (not stelling it, just curious)
Ohhh how I’d love to have this on my Spotify ,, great memories from 80s,
I Love Music

Holy cats, thanks for dropping the knowledge
Elk jaar in december denk ik aan Peter, hij en Ben stonden aan het bigin van de mixen in de jaren 80 in Nederland, RIP Peter

Unbelievable, outstanding remix from Peter. Thanks for sharing my friend.
Indeed it rocks, and you're very welcome Jan!
Peter Slaghuis is ons veel te vroeg ontvallen, wat een rasartiest was het toch...
Oh yes!
Als je bedenkt hoe die dit aan elkaar heeft geplakt. Geniaal.
ER ZIJN DURE TAPE DECKS. MET DE PRIJS VAN EEN AUTO. WAAR DIT OOK BIJ KAN. OF JE KOOPT GEWOON EEN SAMPLER.
